Does the job
I like that they give you 8 so you have enough to do the job. I may leave 4 at the cabin so we can have eggs and toast at the lake. They stack nicely for storage too. They will tip so be careful with that. I use my steamer insert with my rice cooker and I can see through the glass lid without disturbing it.

So so
The egg white was still under cooked on the top. The egg yolk over cooked. And even though I buttered the cup it still kinda stuck. I will try again making sure the water is much hotter and add more butter on the cup. I will also try to flip it with a spoon to make sure the top white is cooked and not weepy. It has potential maybe with more practice.

These egg poachers work, and with practice, I think you'll be able to get some nice poached eggs.Check out my video to watch me try them for the first time. I hope it's helpful. How I made poached eggs:1. Googled a recipe for poached eggs.2. Sprayed two egg cups with cooking spray3. Boiled water to a depth that would not submerge the cup4. Crack an egg into each cup5. Used cooking tongs to place each cup into the boiling water6. Covered and set the timer to 4 minutes.7. Made toast8. Buttered toast9. When done, slid poached eggs onto toast. They came out great, although a little messy. That did not matter. Next time I'll use more cooking spray so they won't stick.UPDATE: i made these again, no forgot the oil! But, I added more water so they floated in covered boiling water for a little longer. 5 minutes. The yolk was firmer. Also, there was a little water in the pod, so I poured it out. PERFECT. See my new photo. Hope this helps.

Flat Bottoms!
When I discovered that I can do poached eggs in my instant pot, we've started having Eggs Benedict way more frequently. I do have a 4 egg thing that I can set down in the pot and that works but I've found that these are more useful to me. They do stand by themselves which is better than the ones with the rounded bottoms (which I've been using for years). Easy to just spray a bit, put in an egg and put them into the pot or the pan and go forward. The cups with the rounded bottoms are goners - they are harder to manage and aren't as easy to get the eggs into or out of. These went through the dishwasher perfectly. I like having several because I can use as many or few as I need.

Work well for poached eggs
My husband is a poached egg fanatic and with these little cups, he makes them almost every day. They make poaching an egg super easy without making a mess and they are clean up quickly (we usually just throw them in the dishwasher). There's not much I can say about them because they work so well so we don't have any complaints at all. I love eggs benedict and now there is no excuse (except struggling with hollandaise sauce) not to make them more often. Great product.

Great value pack.
I love these silicone egg cups. I get perfect eggs every time with nothing added. Easy to clean and can be used in many cooking devices. I received this product free and am leaving my honest review.
