Making do with old, dull bits was just stupid. These bit are made for regular wood screws, but with by drilling a bit shallow they work with sheet rock type screws as well.

I do alot of antique restoration these bits are great. Highly recommend them . Bought a set for a friend that work on furniture. He like then also.

This set of bits cut very quickly and save time. One step drill and counter sink. No reason to go back to the old days of having a second bit to use to deepen the hole for the screw to be flush.

From what I can tell this is a good product. I took off one star because Amazon lost the delivery and it took me 2 weeks for me to finally get it. Not necessarily the manufacturers fault.

What I did like about this product is that the screw hole drilling part had to points two nuts to hold it in place. I also liked there was a piece to attach for depth management. What I didn't like was the fact that the drill bird themselves went dull quickly and I was only drilling through cedar planks that were 1/4" thick and some plaster wall. I wouldn't buy these again, my Ryobi set lasted much longer and drilled through much tougher material.

Not sure what "maximum torque" is supposed to mean. 3/4 of the bits included, are now busted
