This shield really works, no glare at all. I cannot say nothing else because Amazon restricts my comments, unfair !!!!!

Hard to see during the day and the glass came with scratches

[DAVE]I don't know why there is so much confusion here - allow me to clarify:What this is is a REFLECTIVE FILM that will REFLECT an image placed on your dash...As it is a REFLECTION that it provides you with, the item that you are trying to PROJECT upon the REFLECTIVE FILM, must be showing a reverse image of that you are trying to see...In other words, it's as if you are placing a MIRROR on your WINDSHIELD that will REFLECT the device that it aligned with it...If you check out any of the actual DASH HUD with ODB II compatibility, you'll see that the images the device will show you are a reverse images, intended to be reflected and therefore show up correctly on your Windshield...For any other Device, i.e. a GPS, or a phone, it would have to offer the ability to project a Reverse Image for just this purpose - otherwise it would actually reflect a backwards image on the windshield.Sure hope that clarifies things for you or anyone!!!

Good at night but hardly visible during a sunny day

It definitely works. I just eventually got tired of the mirrored look from the outside, kind of tacky. i now use the little reflector that came with my HUD. It performed well though, restuck many times without issue. Mechanics have even moved it for registration sticker placeme t when i moved, they had no trouble with it.

The only negative thing I can find to say about the HUD Film is that it is kind of hard to see in the daytime but that is to b e expected in bright sunlight conditions. If you play with the background and text colors in your HUD app, you can find a combination that you can see for very bright sunlight conditions. Other than that it ROCKS.

Useless for my purposes.The reflected image is too dull in daylight and is BACKWARD! Grrrr.
