Thinnner and smaller than what is presented in the photo.
Nice color and design but thin fabric and therefore does not present like the photo in Amazon post. Definitely made for the desert as it is a thin scarf versus a thick material for Fall/Winter use. Thinner and smaller than the keffiyeh purchased from markets in Israel (and not as shown in the photo) as down not cover the shoulders at all!!

Good for all weather
I thoroughly recommend everyone own a shemagh, as it's a ridiculously versatile piece of clothing. With five minutes of tutorials you can turn this thing into a hat, a mask, a hat/mask combination, a scarf, a sling, a bandage, a bag, and about a thousand other things. This one in particular is a nice, light cloth which means that it can be used as a cover/sweat absorber during hot weather without it suffocating you with heat, and if rolled up/folded properly could also retain a decent amount of heat during colder weather. The little tassels on the ends are a little too long in my opinion (while wrapping it as a head/face cover they tend to get tangled up) and the entire thing could stand to be a few inches longer in every dimension, but other than that I'm very pleased with what I ended up with.

Does the Job
Adequate service for what you pay in Canada. The fabric is light and the dimensions are 5 to 6 inches smaller than the examples I bought in Egypt. My advice if you're going to wear something like this in lieu of a non-medical mask, then have at least four of them kicking around. They are much more comfortable, look a lot cooler and provide much greater flexibility. But they're definitely economy-grade compared to the real deal.

Small, pretty
The all black version has the pattern as a kind of jacquard, it's gorgeous. It's only 42 inches if you include the fringe. Washed well, so I burnt a thread to test it, it's probably not 100% cotton made to look hand spun and hand woven. The one I got is nicely made.I spent an hour trying to tie various sheets around my head as described, but it would need to be quite a bit larger to end up with the knot on the right.Packaging is minimal, good shipping. Now I want a real one.

Pretty Darned Good
I like this shemagh. The color is not accurate to the picture. Actual color is much less vibrant and less saturated. The material is on the thicker side. Not the heaviest out there but not the lightest. It is a very soft cotton. Very warm in our Canadian winters. I have 5 shemaghs and wear them all day for work and mask mandates. Two of them are from this Tapp collection. Overall good quality I would recommend this brand.
