OMG it's Beautiful.
I have to admit. I did not have a preconception of what this would be like, nor know what to expect. All I knew was this was closest looking thing that I was seeking and envisioning in my head.I wanted the all black one, no pinstipes or other colors influencing or possibly giving away what this truly was. Touching it and handling it; it feels bullet proof, it feels substantial. It's a hard metal and you are more than convinced that this is working and doing it's job. It's wrapped in leather and the inside is felt lined. For what it is they sure went overboard, but it's perfect. I see myself storing everything in here now, change, cash, paperwork and almost thing else.Full Stop! This wonderful item is not without its drawbacks or shortcomings. The con's are if your key fob does not fit into this, which is a real possibilty; then all this is a leather wrapped weapon, so you need to know your measurments, otherwise I love it, use it becasue it's amazing and you will love it too.Yes, I know it's expensive but you will never leave home without it.In the past year I have purchased 3 different sizes and types of faraday boxes and they all have their uses. This one is perfect and this one is mine.Thank you, for reading.

Quality Case
Perfect size for my key fob, feels nice and solid, and the top has a nice snug fit that tightly closes. The leather like exterior gives it a nice feel and finish. So far I am very happy with this product.

Trusted security
I have tried those carbon fiber looking bags, and also the tough dark vault metal one that opens up like an old school lighter. Those somehow fail. The bag fails over time, the metal one that opens up has a leak spot that lets signal through if turned a certain way (upside down). This one hasn’t failed my tests so far, time will still tell. I like that it is lighter than the metal one I had, and it isn’t huge. In fact I would say it isn’t bigger than the bag version, it just is formed in a different shape. I got the leather version cause it came with a metal loop for me to hook my aftermarket alarm to.

Nice looking and really works.
After recently having my 2022 Toyota RAV4 stolen, I was looking for a way to protect the key fob for my new RAV4. The signal does not escape this unit. It was a pain to use at first because it does involve extra steps but not as many steps as processing insurance claims and police reports for a stolen car. Relay theft is real ( google it). The thieves can get the signal off your fob in your pocket. It happened to me.There is a small ring on the outside of the case to put my house keys on. I do wish it had a chain or something inside the case to attach to the fob but all and all, I am pleased.

Too small
Doesn’t fit my SUV key fob. The question is why would you make it so small!!! Perhaps in Germany everything is small but if you want to be successful in US make it bigger. So do your homework, measure key fobs and make them a little bit bigger.

Peace of mind
I bought this after someone broke into my car at the gym and stole my credit cards. I suspect that my the unlock button on my fob got pressed in my pocket while I was on some machine. Anyway, I learned to never take my wallet to the gym with me, but in doing research about how to prevent unwanted button presses, I also learned about range extenders car thieves use, so I wanted to find a faraday container for my fob. All the faraday bags I saw and read about seemed to work for a relatively short time and then stop preventing fob signal propagation after just a few months. I found this, and thought I'd give it a try, even if it was a bit more expensive that other options. I couldn't be more pleased. I can have my fob inside of the aluminum box and I cannot open my car even if I use the same hand holding the box. Also, the fact that the sides are rigid, prevents unwanted button presses while I'm working out (not that it would matter anyway). I don't normally review stuff, but I'm really happy with this purchase, so I thought I'd make an exception.

Thought the lid was hinged. It is not.
Blocks key fob rf signals perfectly. I just wish there was a chain attaching the lid to the body, and a chain running from the inside you could attach your key to.

Great protection. Poor execution.
This offers the protection I want from a faraday pouch. When the fob is in the box, even if the top is off, the fob still won't send a signal. I love that. Feels high quality. It's very impractical if you need need easy access to the fob. For this price, the top of the box should have a chain connecting it to the bottom so it's not easy to lose the top. It should also have a chain inside to keep the fob attached. The faraday pouches and bags have that, but the RFID blocking quality fades over time. Instead, while driving, I have the bottom of the fob case attached to my keys, the fob is in my pocket, and the top of the case is in the passenger seat.
