My daughter is 61/2 months old and has had this for four months. I really can't get over how much she loves this and she has since day one. This hasn't gotten old to her at all and its been fun to see how she uses it differently and notices different things as she continues to develop. She has been rolling over from tummy to back since she got this, but it is now helping to encourage her to roll from back to tummy so she can reach objects. Equally importantly, the music is not annoying to the adults! It is pleasant and even though it repeats, its fun. The mat is very durable--my daughter spits up a lot so I wipe it clean and wash and air dry often. No fading of colors--it looks as good as it did day one. I am very pleased with this purchase and so is the little one!

Came quickly, good quality, so easy to put together my 9 year old did it. My baby seems to enjoy it, as well as my 4 year old. Small screwdriver and 2 AAs needed for the musical parrot. The mirror can be fastened and angled just about anywhere. Wish the little mobile actually turned on its own, that'd be cool, otherwise it spins manually just fine. It's neat how all the little attachments minus the giraffe make little noises. All in all its super cute and sturdy. The small loops on the mat are a nice touch for when the baby is older to fasten the toys to. The parrot plays music for a long time as well. The bottom of the matter has a nice texture to reduce slipping. Baby is about 25" and has plenty of room on the mat.

Probably the best purchase from our registry. We created a registry and bought a bunch of stuff for our newborn. She is 2.5 months now and loves her gym. She especially loves the monkey that is hanging in the middle and the butterflies around the monkey.The best part is that when baby touches, grabs or pushes any part it rewards her with music and sounds. To make it easy for her to learn that her actions result in the music we placed her feet close to the giraffe which is easier for her to hit with her feet and now she moves her feet constantly whenever music stops. Giraffe is tied only on top so it moves away eventually, we keep that side next to wall so that giraffe is always within her reach.They could have added a few more toys though for the price. We bought and added a few toys that she call pull and look at,

This is a great product! My daughter absolutely loves the light up Tucan. She also loves, Larry the Lion, Genny the Giraffe and Mike the Monkey as we call the them. Lots of features including the bright colors keep my daughter occupied and motivate her to kick, swat and grab. I think my only "complaint" is that we have 2 small dogs and their fur gets all over the cloth animals and the material Fisher-Price used to make these animals makes it difficult to get the fur off. This is a small complaint though as I know dog fur is a constant battle on everything. Thank you FP for designing a product that is not only good for my daughter's development but keeps the parents sane!

OK - this product is the BEST! I bought it as a shower gift for my daughter and she began using it when her baby was a month old. He has loved it ever since. The animals are bright and cute, and the baby can bat at them or grab them as he gets older. The music is upbeat and plays familiar children's songs. Great size and well made.

I searched far and wide when looking for a play mat for my son. I finally decided to buy this one and I'm SO GLAD I did! We got so much use out of this mat. My baby has always been very active and curious. This mat held his attention for a really long time. He used it from 2 months until he could pull himself to stand at 7 months. We still use the actual mat without the poles when we take him places, because he still loves to play on it. The music was typical kid stuff, but the songs were kind of cute and didn't make me want to pull my hair out after hearing them every day. He still loves the little toys that came with it even though he has outgrown the poles, so we just play with them around the house. It's definitely worth the money!
