This toilet seat arrived very quickly and is exactly as described. Good looking seat that was easy to fix. All the necessary bits and pieces were included in the box, together with easy to follow instructions. I love the soft close mechanism. It's a little larger than the seat it's replaced, which I'm pleased about. It's a better fit on the toilet making it more stable to sit on. It appears pretty sturdy too, not flimsy like plastic. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the toilet seat.

This is an item that I did not think I would be reviewing So I purchased this throne to replace a broken seat I looked at over 20 products to get some idea of what to look for and in the end, I chose this one because The description on the website was very positive and the video helped me in my choice my wife and myself are large people so we needed something a lot stronger than the one we had since moving in over 9yrs ago I liked the fact that this seat was strong and well built It arrived a day earlier than I expected and was reasonable well packaged I removed the old seat and was ready to install the new one the instructions where easy to follow and I had the new one on within 5min and they also provide you with a link to a YouTube video showing you how to install the seat if you do have difficulty with the written instructions the seat is very comfortable and feels solid and is well built so it should last for many years to come I decided to also purchase the 4yr insurance cover just for peace of mind unlike other reviewers I was happy to pay a little more to get a quality product that I could rely on this is not an item that you think of buying until you need to but I would say if your throne has seen better days you should consider getting a replacement and you cant go wrong with this product It is available in a number of different colours giving you a good choice if you want to match your bathroom I am very happy with the quality of the seat and I have no problems recommending it to others

Purchased to replace an old damaged seat. I went for a new quick release one to make it easier to clean and found this to be very quick and easy fit, and has a good slow close facility which is much better when so people don't make a noise when closing the seat.I tried out the quick release and it's extremely easy to pop off, clean and then pop back on.The wood doesn't have a "wood" feel, it's more a polished finish when I don't think is to bad as it's easier to give a quick wipe over as part of the cleaning schedule.All in all, a good product which feels worth the money spent.

Very easy to fit . compared to my old . Looks nice feels okay .and works greatThe only downside is says it is white but it is more brown than white???

I purchased the solid oak colour, it’s good but has a kinda raised grain on the wood effect. The best bit about the seat is it’s made of wood powder, and is quite solid. I have had seats in solid wood and they have split, so hopefully this one will not split in time.The soft close feature is a little strange as it’s the first time I have come across a soft closing loo seat. The quick release seat from the loo works and is super easy to do. But the best bit is it fits my loo .. most seats won’t fit.Very happy with this seat so far

I bought one of these loo seats last summer. I chose it specifically because it was advertised (and still is) as "Solid Oak". The finish looked a bit plasticy but I needed to finish the bathroom. Today we had a bit of a problem and the cover was pulled off it's hinges. The "Solid Oak" seat turns out to be made of cheap chipboard and veneer as can be seen from the photos. I was taken for a fool by this listing. I do hope you wont be caught out the same way.

This product shopuld not be described as a wooden toilet seat. I appreiate that it may be made from bonded sawdust, but it is far too shiny and synthetic to the feel, to resemble wood. But at least it appears to be well made and easy to clean.
