Perfect fit for my 2011 GMC Terrain
I wasn't getting a check engine light but I noticed the gas cap on my 2011 Terrain was acting weird and not "clicking" like it should. Installed the new OEM cap and problem solved, the cap seats and clicks like when the car was new. Removing the tether on the old cap was fairly easy, just use a pair of need nose pliers and slow start fatiguing the plastic on the old tether by gently working it back and forth until it starts releasing. You will probably ruin the tether on the old one removing it, but it doesn't matter since you are replacing it. The new one will just snap it. Whole process took maybe five minutes.

Got this gas cap because I had a code. Did not fix the code, but this does look to be an authentic product. Found the problem for PO455. It was the charcoal cannister vent solenoid. Good gas cap.
