To start, I have only used “fake nails” a handful of times in my life and the majority of those uses were several years ago. As with previous experiences, I was expecting these to fit poorly, not stick well, and look ridiculous on my fingers. I was SO wrong about these! I didn’t have time or energy to get a manicure/paint my nails before leaving for a vacation but had a sneaking suspicion my boyfriend was proposing. I knew I didn’t want my anxiety-bitten nails to be the highlight of photos so I searched for the most foolproof nails I could find. The process was quick - I think between sizing the nails, wiping nail/prepping cuticle, and actually applying the nails, it took maaaaybe 10-15 minutes (that may be an overestimation). It was so simple to apply them, no glue needed! The sticky pads are on the back of the press-ons, so all you have to do is take the backing off and press them on. I can’t stand the feeling of long nails, and even these “short” press-ons felt too long for my liking but they were so easy to file down. I think they looked about as realistic as possible. I kept them on for about 72 hours and in that time I got engaged, played 18 holes of golf, and went to the beach. All 10 nails held up beautifully. I definitely recommend these nails as they are easy to use, great value, can be filed down and shaped, look realistic, and pretty durable. No need to mess around with nail glue!!

I have been using imPress nails for about a year and I love them! I think that they look better than acrylics, plus they are so much cheaper! I also like that I can do them at home while watching TV in about half the time it takes to get acrylics done at a salon. Mine last about two weeks when applied using the adhesive tabs plus a coat of brush-on nail glue applied on my nails after prepping them using the provided mini emery board and prep pad. The glue also results in a better appearance, as the edges of the press-on nail will adhere to your natural nail more completely with the glue than without. The only downside to using nail glue is that the removal is more difficult and more damaging to your natural nail. With the tabs alone, the nails typically last me about three or four days, but I often lose a nail or two around day two. Once I added the nail glue to the routine, I had all ten nails last about two weeks before they started lifting a bit around the edges. I absolutely love these nails and will likely never go back to acrylics.

This is my second time using this brand of nails. They are so much easier to not have to mess with the glue, and last time they lasted for about 10 days. I guess I will see how it does this time, I just put them on so I don’t know yet. The last time I bought this brand, they were an almond shape and the sizes worked out well, but this time I bought these and I was surprised how short they are, they don’t even barely cover my natural nails, and I have them cut way down as much as possible. I would call these extra short compared to what other companies nails that I’ve bought in the “short” size. The color is very cool, just depending on what room I’m in with what kind of light and what kind of angle I’m holding my hand up the color changes dramatically! I’ve attached three pictures, but basically there is a green and blue and purple look to them, but they can also look almost black again, depending on the light and the angle of the light hitting them. I have seen some reviews that people complained the coating on top chipped off , I’m hoping that doesn’t happen and I even have thought maybe I would put a topcoat on it to protect it but haven’t done that yet.

I love the color, they're a nice medium mauve metallic. Not overly dark or light. I have used this brand of press on nails for years and I've tried other brands only to be disappointed. These are the only ones I'll use. I have incredibly thin and weak nails, I've tried everything to make them better but alas I have to accept what I don't have naturally. In steps Kiss Impress. They are sturdy, don't budge once you put them on and they tend to stay for almost two weeks. Application tips: 1) Size out every nail by finger prior to applying. It will make the process go much faster. 2) Nail dehydrator!! I like to use a nail dehydrator (or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball) before applying because the included alcohol pad just isn't enough imo. I also recommend washing your hands before to get as much of your natural oils off your hands. All of this prep will help the nails to stay on longer. 3) Do them before bed. Once you apply them they need time to fully adhere. Washing your hands, doing things that require nail use, will reduce the wear time. Bedtime let's them set up for more longevity, at least from my experience Removing them - If you liked playing with rubber cement in art class, you're gonna love the removal of these. My only tip is to go in from the side of the nail to reduce nail peeling. Overall, these are the only nails that don't wreck my natural nail beds. If you have weak nails like me you'll be very happy with these. I only wish they came in more shapes and colors!

These did not stay on as well as others that I’ve used that are the same brand. Not sure why, but they started popping off within 24 hours. Usually this brand stays on for a good 7-10 days.

Beautiful color

I thought the color is on the lighter side of mauve like the photos, but I was wrong. I don’t like the color, it doesn’t go well with my dark skin tone. The company charges around $5 for return shipping cost when the product only costs around $8. So I’ll just throw in the trash or give it to a friend who wants it. Never buying nails on Amazon again especially from this company Grand Lakes Market. They lied - it says FREE return or replacement. But it is NOT FREE.
