The full upright position of this chair is a little awkward and the full 'recline' isn't quite as much as I'd like, but for the money it is okay. There are multiple different methods on these chairs to lock your position and I chose this chair because it is a wheel rather than a lever. The wheel is very stiff but does lock the position well when engaged.
