Rachael Ray Tools and Gadgets Solid Spoonulas / Scraping Cooking Utensil Set - 9-1/2-Inch, 10-Inch, and 12-1/2, Blue

Christmas gift to my wife for 2011. This spatula set is still pliable and in like-new condition -- and we BOTH use them all the time for cooking. We have the orange set, and it still looks like new, even though we use the dishwasher. If I'm the driver, then I reach for the silicone spatulas, because they're super-compliant, so the bowl gets wiped clean. Even the handle is still like-new (not getting stiffer, as with cheaper polypropylenes). The spoon-shaped spatula: What a great idea! It's more useful than a flat spatula in every application! High temperature silicone: The right choice for wiping hot pans, the right choice for wiping odd surfaces clean, and the right choice for sanitary uses (Trust me -- I'm a materials engineer).Maybe I'm wrong, but our other plastic spatulas lost their flexibility over a two-year period. I'm told that the older spatulas (cream-colored plastic that used to be flexible but is now only flexible at the outer 1/4-inch; and cracking there) are nearing eight years old. And if you press too hard to try to get the plastic to conform to the bowl's shape, then the handle cracks off, and you have to hide the broken parts on your work bench! (Really. How many paint can scrapers can you justify?) If the spatula stays pliable, then you don't need to apply pressure that could break the handle.Silicone rubber: the best!

I bought these in Dec 2019 and thought I'd like a second set, but I changed my mind when I saw that the price nearly doubled within 2 years.Otherwise, very good spoonulas. Can put in the dishwasher, can use to stir hot foods while cooking. I like the different sizes. The largest one works well to mix or scoop salads or lift larger pieces of foods, like chicken, or giving roasting vegetables a stir in the oven. The smallest one is good for mixing small amounts, scraping out a small can, or getting the last bit of peanut butter from a jar.One thing of note, if the "Rachael Ray" name is important to you, be aware that the print soon wears away from the handles.

Already own one set . Has stood up very well . Only spatula I use love the weight , versatility ,heat resistantance . Won't use anything else

It sounds strange, but I am super picky when it comes to rubber spatulas. They have to have a sturdy handle that will not bend when pushing down a sticky peanut butter granola crust on the bottom of my springfoam pan. They cannot have that rubbery sticky feeling that attracts all the dust and grime in the kitchen drawer. They MUST be heat resistant, even the handle, so I can leave them unattended in the pan while I step away to shove the kitty off the counter. They need a bit of a rounded edge so they can scoop and hold things. And they need to be a color that will not stain and look ugly. These fit ALL those criteria. My only reason for 4-stars instead of 5 are the strange size combination. The small is truly small, but not super small - works great on getting the last mayo from the jar, but cannot fit in the small pesto container. the medium one is a standard size - all good there. And the large one is just, well, huge. I used the big one for breaking up ground chicken as I sauteed it on the stovetop, and it did a great job, but just felt too big and awkward for me. I can't really see when I would have need for such a large spatula unless cooking huge batches of things for a crowd. I probably would have preferred a second medium sized spatula instead.

I use these spatulas for everything! Loved them so much I had to purchase a second set and threw away all of my cheap old ones. Dishwasher safe. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy & cleans up well

Very rubbery which helps to get a bowl nice and clean.

All Silicone is not created equal. These are really nice and heat-resistant. I bought these 2 years ago (for only $9 so no big deal) and have mostly used the middle-sized one. (I've used the big one for mixing a big bowl of cole slaw, not for cooking.) They clean up well, but if I had used it to cook something with oil in it, when I go to use it again (after the surface was cleaned), I have found an oily/sticky residue has seeped out. So, it soaks up some oil that does not wash off. I have other silicone spatulas, and this has not been a problem, so all 'silicone' is not the same!.[I searched online for a scientific explanation, but mostly found instructions on how to clean silicone items; these mostly talked about elaborate soaking a scrubbing, which is too much time and trouble, and doesn't really address the underlying problem.]

Had a orange set for many years the ends came off for good cleaning. the new ones are all one piece but well made and will i hope last as long

Este juego de espátulas tipo cuchara me gustó mucho, son muy resistentes, el tamaño grande es mayor al que imaginaba pero funciona muy bien, son una buena elección.

No me gustó que es muy difícil limpiar la ranura que une la espátula con el mango en los 3 tamaños.
