Seed should always be monitored for moisture and any moldy seed thrown away immediately for the health of the birds. Clean every two weeks. For best results wash your feeder thoroughly in soapy water, then soak or rinse it in a solution of one part bleach to nine parts water. Dry the feeder thoroughly before refilling. Place securely out of reach of squirrels and provide birds with a bush or some covering within 15 feet of feeder for them to feel most secure. Sit back in your favorite reading chair and enjoy the beautiful birds!
