This is a lovely bible complete with pictures. The pages are a little on the thin side but that is a minor issue. Would recommend.

I'm slightly dyslexic and the pictures and font help to break up the page and make it easier to read. Best Bible I have read.

The Bible is beautiful but I do not like NRSV for various reasons like in Paul's letters where he is addressing people it will say brothers and sisters when it should just say brothers. I also did not like the way pslam 23 is translated compared with other translations,I prefer it to say 'Valley of the shadow of death' rather than 'the darkest valley'. At first I didn't like that the layout of the pages with it only being one wall of text instead of the tradional two walls on one page but this has grown on me over time. I also had a slight problem with the order of the books, I'm more uses to 2 maccabees being at the end of the old testament but in this Bible it is before Job. The illustrations look good but I do believe that my illustration of the destruction of sodom and gomorrah was printed incorrectly because it looks like a mess. I do like this Bible a lot but I wish it was Douay Rheims or RSVrather than NRSV
