I film every day, I wear out magnetic camera mounts all the time and this is my go to. I purchase them 3-5 at a time and they are simply awesome! Strong magnet, secure mechanism that holds the camera. Easy to use, all weather conditions. I even use these to mount security cameras and solar panels on my steel shop building. Great alternative to drilling holes in metal surfaces for security camera mounts. Simply the best!

Strong magnet, the ball mount stays where you lock it down. Just make sure you have a case for your GoPro, this kit isn't enough and won't attach to your camera on its own.

I actually just wanted the magnet to put on the bottom of my Sofirn lantern but the rest of the kit turned out to be really useful. I have been impressed with the quality of the machining and the versatility that these mounts allow you. I will be buying another set or two for use with my GoPro cameras.

Review for Magnetic Mount Base Stand Kit. This mount exceeded my expectations. It is a very high quality piece of hardware. I used this to mount a sports action video camera underneath a vehicle in order to locate a clunk in the suspension. I had no problem finding places on the bottom of the vehicle flat enough to put the magnetic mount. The base has very strong magnets in it that do a great job holding the mount and camera. The surface does not have to be perfectly flat in order for this mount to stick to it. I found that if most of the surface under the magnetic base is relatively flat, the base will stick. And this mount along with a video camera allowed me to pretty quickly find the loose shock absorber mounting bolt that was causing the clunk.

Being a cheap Amazon mount, I expected the quality to be.. ya know.. cheap amazon quality, but actually very nice aluminum pieces and easy to use. Love it. I haven't tested it on a driving car but for garage work and mounting easily to different things, this is great.

This mount has a very strong magnet with a pretty soft rubber coating. I've attached this magnet to the side of my pickup and driven on some pretty rough roads and it stayed put. The mount has lots of adjustment, when combined with GoPro attachments the adjustments are nearly infinite. I use this with a GoPro and a Sony Handycam to attach them to my vehicles an haven't had any problems with damaging the paint. If you need a method to attach a camera to a metal surface this is the mount to do it with.
