Q: What country are these manufactured and assembled?

I had read in another post that the All-Clad Essentials line was manufactured in the USA. When I received them, stated, "Made in China". I do try and look for items that are, at least in part, made in the USA. Amazon should have a made in the USA filter.

Q: Are these fry pans induction?

No the Essentials range is not induction-compatible. For induction-compatible nonstick, please refer to our HA1, B1, or NS1 Cookware.

Q: What is the nonstick coat made of?

I didn't know the answer but I know I love All-Clad cookware. I haven't had a problem yet with sticking. Here are some facts from a Google search that might help: The aluminum in hard-anodized cookware has gone through a process to make it harder and more durable. To accomplish this, the aluminum is immersed in a chemical bath and exposed to a strong electrical current. This process produces oxide, the compound responsible for rust. The oxide forms a hardened layer over the aluminum’s surface, making it far more resilient and resistant to future corrosion.
