HP Chromebook 14" Laptop PC 14b-na0005sa, AMD Athlon 3050, 4GB RAM, 64GB SSD, FHD, Mineral silver

Unfortunately the laptop I received is not a chromebook or run by chrome or even have play store like stated. It's totally different from the pictures & description & is a windows run laptop. Doesn't have the chromebook symbol on top off the laptop either as again not the right laptop sent. Very disappointed that this has happened.

This was purchased for my partner to replace the Lenovo laptop that was starting to fail. She had had a Chromebook before, which she dropped and broke, so had been using my old laptop. The Chromebook is better suited to her needs as it is mostly for use on the internet and she uses cloud worksheets and docs.Firstly, it feels sturdy and well made. The screen is a good size and has clear and crisp images. The keyboard is well laid out and nice sized keys with good spacing, which makes it easy to touch type. We added a wireless mouse without any need to do anything other than plug in the wireless receptor to a USB port. The other great benefit is that it picked up the printer without any effort [not like with my HP Laptop!!!!] so she was able to print anything without any drama.We appear to have purchased this at the right time as it has now been increased in price. For the money, this represents good value.Given it is SSD it is lightning fast to turn on compared to the laptop she was using.It also appears to have a very good battery life.All in all, and though we have only had it a week, this is a very good buy.

This is the second unit sent out to me unit is an exchange unit not new both units only have 7 months warranty hardware and 1 months warranty on software called HP to check this and they confirmed that both units are exchange and only have warranty that is left very poor show Amazon selling exchange units as new.Have now in total had 3 units all the same hp exchange units talked to manager today at Amazon could not give a dam told me to take Amazon to trading standards well done Amazon well done Amanda.

What a saga. I've now had two of these awful machines.They appear to have some kind of overheating problem as they are noticably hot to the touch during charging. After a couple of weeks, performance began to slow down. So you would click on another tab and wait a few seconds before it appeared. Eventually I was having to reboot a few times a day to get an acceptable performance speed.After that, playback of videos and music began to suffer, and they "stuttered" so they would get stuck on one word or phrase for a few seconds. This was the beginning of the end. Within a couple of weeks it crashed for the last time and would not reboot.Can I just add, this machine is ludicrously thin. Surely there has to come a limit to how water-thin a laptop can be? The keyboard side was so slim, the USB port kind of has to "pop out" when you put a USB stick in. Don't use a plastic USB stick because the port actually chewed up and broke one of mine. With repeated use the pressure from the pop out cracked the casing.I foolishly agreed to a replacement. DO NOT DO THIS. The exact same thing happened, to the letter. It was dead within 2 months. Plus, it was not a smooth transaction through Amazon.I was asked to send the broken machine back and pay for the postage, which they said would be refunded.I paid around £18 for this, and it took 2 months for the courier to deliver it. From the tracking it was apparent the courier TRIED. Does that particular Amazon Returns address have short opening hours? Eventually it did get delivered. But Amazon kept sending messages saying they had not received it. I had to speak to Customer Services to get this sorted out. The courier fee was not refunded as promised.Fortunately when the second machine packed up, they supplied the label and courier free of charge.I still had to chase up the missing courier fee and send a receipt. Since I order online I did not have one, only a screenshot of my order. I hope that suffices as I have not been notified of the payment yet.In short this has been a massive inconvenience, more than financial hardship. I've lost everything from both Download files. I've had to spend considerable time organising replacements and refunds, and chasing mistakes.Someone with less free time would not be able to keep up with the amount of chivying this required.Also I can't understand why such a poor machine ever made it to the marketplace. HP will lose a lot of money on this. The entire transaction was a complete disaster.

snappy & quick, but only one usb port spoilt it for me___(edit) few weeks later the screen went grey & weird / shimmeringAmazon very helpful & another one on its way in post apparently arriving tomorrow

Overheated just after 1 hour use during initial setup.Had to return it next day😔😔😔

Very easy to use. Great battery life, lasts quite long. Very easy and nice shortcuts. Great speakers.

Got this to replace old pc. Downloaded old photos on it which took a while. It suggested I by more space and when I tried I get message “can’t but in your region”. When trying to create new document it now comes up “something went wrong Reload”Click on that and now 10 times later same message.Sent them feedback and no response. Not impressed
