LimbSaver AirTech Precision-Fit Recoil Pad for Synthetic Stocks

The 10807/10111 works on a savage 111 rifle. There is a recessed pocket on the original recoil pad. That recessed pocket did not affect my ability to tighten the Limbsaver pad to the stock.Nice clean, sturdy fit. Lines match up and has that OEM from the facility look.Little expensive but if it makes it makes it easier to send more rounds down range and not flinch what firing then it is worth its weight.

After putting several thousand rounds through my Maverick 88, and countless bruised shoulders it was time to fix it. I had already swapped the original stock with the Magpul stock and that was a slight improvement but this is next level. The difference in cushion is night and day better. This feels so much softer and absorbs so much more impact. The original butt pads are so firm and do not provide any dampening it feels like. This is a great upgrade paired with the Magpul SGA stock adapter. It’s two simple original screws to install and makes shooting so much more enjoyable. Well worth the money!

This thing was amazing normally with my 7mm mag. I could only put 2 rounds down range. With this I did 5 and still had no sorness in the shoulder. Definitely is worth the money. I did install it on a Winchester model 70. I had to drill a new hole in my stock even though this said it fits synthetic. It was not a direct fit

Fit perfectly on an 870 express camo synthetic stock! Far better than the rock hard pad it came with.

so the reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is that it is not a perfect fir on my 7mm mag. I t is slightly too wide at the bottom part of the stock, but this doesn't affect performance. I used the template from the mfg's website to verify that this is the one I needed too, so when it didn't fit perfect I was a little disappointed.Now, on a normal day out shooting, after 5 or so shots, I start to feel it in my shoulder. I get that feeling that someone has just been punching me, and the soreness sets in for a couple days.my first day out with this recoil pad, I shot 22 rounds and didn't feel a thing! I went out again a few days later, and shot 14 more rounds. Still no soreness! It is truly night and day with this thing on!One complaint though, is that after being in the woods for a while and shooting and being outdoors, it got a little bit of a sticky feeling. Almost like the sticky hand thing you used to get out of the quarter machines.

I purchased this product because I have had 3 cervical spinal surgeries, but I still enjoy sport shooting. The Limb Saver drastically cut the recoil back on all of my high powered rifles. I have had many injuries so this greatly helps me, but it will also help all of you healthy young bucks out there as well. You do not have to get all bruised up and sore from a day at the range or hunting. All you have to do is add this finely engineered piece of equipment to your favorite shotgun or rifle and wake up the next morning without the soreness, pain, or bruising. I highly recommend this to all shooters with spinal issues or shoulder issues. You too can get back into the sport of shooting with the Limb Saver in the place of your factory butt plate.

I love limbsavers, I have put them on all of my magnum rifles and swear by them. This however is very disappointing, the limbsave I got does not fit my remington 870 express even though on the packaging it claims to work with the express and the express tactical. In order to make it Simi work I had to drill new holes and screw it in slightly unaligned. I am excited to go out and try it and see how much it tames slugs and goose load but it looks very tacky not lining up appropriately.
