Easy to use
Would have been even better if you could program some odd scale to it. So maps with weird scales like 1mm = 591 meter converts in the display. Also a small memory would have been nice.

Great tool for estimating
I've been in construction for over 20 years and was sceptical when a colleague mentioned this product. But having used it for over a year now, I think it's amazing. When you have a quick job to price, this makes the take offs so easy and quick, you wonder how you managed before. I still use a trusty scale ruler for some things, but this little tool does most of the work. The ability to set your own scale takes all the problems out of odd scaled drawings or drawings printed the wrong size. As long as you know one dimension, you can measure the rest. I wouldn't recommend it for accurate works, but for tender quantities it is brilliant. Well worth the investment.
