The trouble with some knives is that they are not sharp enough, be warned this knife is very, very sharp, which is just what you want. It will cut everything, meat, tomatoes etc and not damage the produce. As I said it is very sharp so be careful when handling it. Hand wash, do not put it in the dishwasher.

Forget your Kitchen Devils. This is at a different level. Brilliant. New to Damascus steel and levels of hardness etc but this one is razor sharp

Exepensive. However, after now using for ALL kitchentasks without blunting, found to be top quality.Note: DO NOT put in dishwasher.I would buy again for a present or if need be.

This is, undoubtedly, a lovely knife. However, for the money it cost, I would expect it to be better. It was sharp, but not as sharp as it could/should have been for the money. I found it was no sharper than some of my much cheaper knives.I doubt whether it is genuine Damascus steel, since you can't really buy genuine Damascus steel under approx. £400.Ultimately I returned it, because, for the cost, I felt it should have been better.

Treated ourselves to this knife and it’s worth every penny, unbelievable quality, great, luxury feel to the knife, would definitely recommend.

Amazingly sharp and well balanced

I bought this for my husband as he had been wanting one for months, he is so pleased with it, just be careful though as it is VERY sharp as my husband found out!!
