I just finished cleaning 4,000 sq. ft. of ceramic tile and grout with this cleaner, in preparing my house for sale. My grout was disgusting. It was dark brown to black against an off white tile so it made the floor look very dirty and old. I've tried so many cleaning products except that nothing ever worked. After looking into hiring a professional company or renting machines, I came across an ad for this online. I went to my hardware store that was listed as one who carried and bought the last two bottles on the shelf. I was immediately AMAZED at what my grout looked like after one pass with the brush. You could actually see the dark brown crud break up off the grout. So I used up the two bottles I had bought and had to order a total of 11 more bottles to complete the tile in this huge house. A few tips I learned while doing it:1. If it's not super dirty, you can cut this 1/2 water, 1/2 solution.2. I transferred this into a spray bottle with a "stream" option on the sprayer to get it right into the grout line.3. This will leave a film on the floor after. What I did was after I scrubbed the area, I used old towels to absorb the dirty water, then mopped with warm water to rinse. You will still need to mop the floor after (2 to 3 times), using a little bleach and warm water.4. Besides the grout brush on a stick, I had a utility brush that I went over the tough spots and used against baseboards and cabinets.I'm glad to finally be done with my house. The floors look brand new and I know it will make a much better impression as people view my house with their realtor.

This product worked very well on dirty black grout. My wife and I just purchased a home in which the basement had white tiles and the blackest, dirtiest grout we had ever seen. I wanted to rip them all up and have new tile put down. I also looked into getting them cleaned and was quoted $900.00. My wife wanted to try to clean it first before spending unnecessary money. She reviewed some products on Amazon and decided to try this product. It worked great. She spread the solution on the grout and waited a few minutes. She then scrubbed the grout with a very tough grout brush. After the grout dried, we couldn't believe the difference. She did go back and go over some areas she didn't scrub hard enough but for the most part, the flooring looks dramatically different. Family members have commented and gone on to order a bottle for themselves. The grout is now light gray and looks like new.

Finally, a product that really does work as good as it claims. Cleaning grout is a major pain. We tried the erasure pads and other products, either way they all involved elbow grease and time. This stuff ain't cheap, but if you are careful not to over apply you can clean enough grout to make it well worth the price. Almost half of our 1st floor is tile. We bought a Hoover Floor Scrubber in hopes to get the floors cleaner. Forget Swiffer, I swear it makes the grout lines dirtier. We like the Floormate Scrubber, but after awhile the grout just seemed to get more discolored and dingy looking....it was time to do something! Perhaps hire a pro? With 3 crazy dogs always running for the open doors this was our last resort, so I surfed around to get the most consistent reviews on a cleaning product.....and found "Grout Sensation". The name alone sort of scared me off as just another "TV" wonder product that barely does the job and covers the manufacturer's behind in a lawsuit, but the reviews were so strong. I ordered it. If I get taken, so what, it was worth a try to save the money and hassle of having a contractor in the house. I put some on the really bad areas...I mean almost black and I have light tan grout.....WOW in seconds it bubbled up, I very lightly brushed the bubbling area, wiped with a damp cloth, and the grout was COMPLETELY clean. I bought a brush that we could use on a pole. My wife and I are looking forward to double teaming this large floor, getting it done quickly with no hands and knees or sore back!

I wish I would take "the before" photos like some of the other reviewers, but I did not expect I would want to write a review, however, the effect was so shocking I decided to spend a few minutes on my time to let everybody know that it works and makes grout look like new!

I don't understand how this product received so many 5 star reviews. I was anxious to get it and tried it as soon as it was delivered. I read the label, and used it as directed, pouring it directly on the grout. Then I waited for the foaming mentioned in the video, there was just a tiny bit but I waited a little longer, nothing. Next, I used a scrub brush but there was no noticeable difference. I contacted Amazon for a return who turned my request over to the manufacturer. The maker of Grout Sensation refused to accept a return. So, unless Amazon refunds my $22.99, I'm stuck with what amounts to a bottle of expensive cleaning water.

This stuff is amazing! I'm not really sure how it could not work for you! My grout was DARK, NASTY brown (almost black), and it should have been a very light tan color. In preparing my house for sale, I went through about 3 bottles for two bathrooms, a hallway, and the kitchen/dining room. This stuff took some elbow grease, but WOW, what a difference it made! Just look at my before and after pictures. They speak for themselves. I used the stuff straight from the bottle, did not dilute it at all. I found that it worked best if I let it sit for a couple minutes prior to scrubbing. I used a tough bristle, grout brush for scrubbing and it worked great. My floors look brand new. It does leave a residue after use, but I went back and wiped up with an old towel and then used the swiffer wet jet after. Worked perfectly! This stuff isn't cheap, but worth every penny if you want sparkling, brand new looking floors.
