Works better than toggle bolts - I would recommend pre-drilling
When it comes to hanging heavy items on sheetrock, a toggle bolt has been the best solution I've found. The major problem with toggle bolts is that they don't stay centered in the correct position very well. That's why I was excited when I found these! They seemed to offer the solid connection of a toggle bolt, while staying in the desired position more like a standard wall anchor. I will admit that the price gave me pause, but they still seemed worth a try.Anyway, I am happy to report that they do indeed work just as well as a toggle bolt - and don't have any side-to-side, or up-and-down play at all.Having said that, there are some things to keep in mind when using them:1) These are advertised to not need pre-drilling. Unfortunately, these anchors just aren't strong enough to power through sheet rock on their own, so I would highly recommend that you do take a few seconds to pre-drill a hole. In fact, these seemed to work best if I pre-drilled the full diameter of the toggling base portion of the anchors. If you opt not to pre-drill the hole, I think you'll find nothing more than a broken pile of expensive drillertoggles...2) Since these rely on the screw going into the toggling base once it's in the wall - it is critical that the inserted machine screw be screwed in straight. In my case I was mounting brackets that had 4 holes, and I was only using a drillertoggle for one of them. If I tried screwing into one of the other anchors before the drillertoggle, it would put this just far enough out of alignment that it wouldn't catch the internal toggle - so I started always inserting the drillertoggle screw first and it worked perfectly. In other words, if you're having trouble getting the screw to catch the toggle portion, just pull it out and try to angle it just slightly differently. Using that technique, I was able to get 12 for 12 of them to catch and hold perfectly. At the end of the day, I think these work great - but they do have their own problems. They are more stable than a standard toggle bolt; but, they also require a bit more thought to install correctly. I will repeat again that you should absolutely ignore the advice about not needing to pre-drill.This is a product that could be a serious hit in the market; but, if they company insists on saying you shouldn't pre-drill, they're going to wind up with a lot of bad reviews...

Useless product - Now left with gaping holes and a headache!
I was attracted to these anchors because they claim to support a lot of weight and look very sturdy. Unfortunately this is far from the case, if you have not yet purchased these... do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE them! The plastic piece easily cracks off the metal piece when screwing into the wall. Also, in my case the screw never fully tightened into the anchor, it just keeps twisting and twisting. When i added any when to the anchor it starts to pull out of the wall 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. Now if I do take these junky anchors out of the wall I am left with a large gaping hole and a headache!

Does not work well at all. Dissapointed with this product.
Awful. The screw just spins endlessly. Trying to get the remnants of these out of the holes is hugely destructive. I made the mistake of assuming the first failures were something I was doing, so I have three plastic caps to try to camouflage now. I went back to the store and bought the ones with the little red stick that you push into the plastic to "set" the anchor. These had 100 percent success...
