Worked as described just can’t use a case with it that’s the only down side to the product until less than 2 weeks and it snaps inside my phone of all places.. I honestly thought this was a better quality product and it really held up for the first week then picked it up off my lap and barely touched the cord and it snapped right off

The minute I got home after picking it up I tested it. The Verdict: did not work!1. Plugs in fine into my iPhone with a case.2. The charging plug doesn’t snap but it charges the phone.3. Tried on an earbuds with mic. The audio plug needs help to be pushed in totally.4. Earbuds only plays the right channel.5. Tried it with a Grado headphones (no mic). Same thing - no audio on the left channel.6. Lightning plug to the phone was designed off center so when you plug the audio jack, this thing will swing a little bit I wind up holding it with a finger.Not even ten minutes with this thing and returned it already.

This device 'technically' works as expected. The only issue I have and why I did not give it 5 stars is that it does not work on a phone that has a case, or a case that forces the use of a longer ligthning adapter. If you look at the pictures from the supplier they all show phones without cases. So overall it works as expected, but the male lightning adapter needs to be longer. (that's what she said)

This latest design is "THE BEST" iPhone charging/ 3.5mm audio adapter because it totally eliminates a pigtail wire completely. There is essentially nothing to wear out or break with this adapter which makes it uniquely the best choice over all of the wired adapters out there. This latest design is a game changer for the newer iPhone models that require you to purchase a separate adapter to allow simultaneous iPhone charging/ with a 3.5mm audio port so you can to listen to your music on those pricey headphones or earbuds you already own. I was on my 4th wired adapter before I found this latest design. The wire is always the Achilles Heel with wired cell phone adapters, once the wire starts breaking down internally and you start getting that horrible distortion... NOW WHAT? .... TIME TO BUY ANOTHER ONE! ... BUT THIS TIME... WIRED? OR NO-WIRE? ... IT'S YOUR MONEY!I HIGHLY recommend this one... it will be the last one you'll have to replace due to wire failure! :)

I tried with my crave case and a friends Otter Box. No go. Lightning plug is just a bit too short. Just dumb, seeing as use of cases for phones seem to be pretty high. Like every one I know, iPhone or Android user has a protective case.I’m going to see if it’s possible to modify my case to gain that tiny fraction of an inch without completely nullifying tje protection. I thought the size was good and no cable section that it would wear well and not break! WRONG!!!This lasted about 45 minutes, plugged it in and charged my phone, then plugged my headphones in to listen to music. It sounded good but then it just stopped! 35-45 minutes in, just stopped!Unplugged it and replugged my lightning charger and the headphones but the music kept coming out of the phone. I can no longer get the sound to the headphones. Used my old lightning cable to 1/8” adapter and it works fine. I wanted a charger and headphones together but not with this unit.Many bad reviews and add mine to them.Another bad review and experience. Very disappointed in this product and Amazon for selling it, they should not sell it, waste of time and money! Do not buy it, save yourself the time and money!
