First of all, I’m a really big researcher. On my list was some heavy hitters, such as the LG G4 and Samsung Edge. It was purely by chance I stumbled upon the Very Kool S5518. The price immediately caught my eye. Since I am “a penny pincher” I decided to take a chance. Afterall, on my pros & cons list, Very Kool was in the middle of the pack, so I didn’t think it was that much of a risk. After using the phone for almost 6 months, I am very happy that I took that risk.Setting up the sim card was simple and easy. I chose pure talk.I immediately put in a 32gb SD card which is where I store pictures, books, and music and a couple of games. All my downloaded apps are stored on the SD card as well, thus leaving the majority of my small internal memory free.GPS on the phone works great. There is no need to be connected to internet, this is a stand alone feature. When I go walking I track my walk and can see the map right on the screen.Some users have complained about the volume. My phone is very loud. I use the speaker function frequently for conference calls at work and no one has complained that they could not hear. In my car I use the blue tooth speaker and it is very loud.Call volume on my end has been perfect. I have asked people to tell me if it was difficult to hear me and so far I have not had an issue.Multi tasking on the phone seems to work seamlessly. I was quite excited the first time I checked the internet at the same time I was talking on the phone!I take vey few pictures on the phone, preferring my SLR. However, The pictures I have taken have been very crisp and bright. True, the phone screen doesn’t have as high a resolution of the LGG4 and others, but it is really not noticeable. Videos are very sharp.I’ve seen complaints about battery life. I do charge my phone every evening. BUT, so do all the people I know that have any other brand of phone. Apparently it goes with the smart phone territory. If I do not use videos or navigation, then I can go a lot longer without recharging. It isn't a deal breaker.It’s true that if you are looking for accessories…..there are none. This is a problem you find with most non brand phones. But if you are somewhat handy you can make something else work. I wanted a flip case for the phone. I hunted and hunted and just couldn’t find. Finally, I decided to take a chance on the DREEM Magnetic Case for an iphone 6 plus. When I got the case, I trimmed the right side down with an exacto knife. Then took a file and finished smoothing it out so it looked clean. The camera opening is only off slightly. Again, I took a little round file and extended the opening a little bit. As I mentioned before, the sound is fairly loud on my phone so I didn’t do anything to open the back of the case where the speaker is. But if I decide I want to, I think I can put a couple small holes. It actually looks as if the case were made for this phone.Just remember 1 thing, this is a phone that costs only $149. There is a lot of bang for the buck, but you won’t get exactly everything the flagship models have. If you expect it to be the $399+ phone, then you probably should buy the $399+ phone.

The phone works very. As advertised! But the company behind it is even better. After a small issue they went beyond expected to make me happy. I have three and if i needed another it would be another VeryKool without a doubt

I was looking to replace my sons straight talk phone and came across this. After reading the reviews and product info I thought I'd give it a try. BEST BUY EVER! That is for a phone for my son :). No lag. Works great. Simple set up. And it comes with a screen protector and phone case as well as the charger and ear buds. The camera is excellent and the screen is awesome as well. I was pretty impressed for it being inexpensive!

It's a great phone! I had to take it to the AT&T store because I had an ancient SIMS card and it was too big (hanging out over the slot, and the battery would prevent it from laying flat and therefore no connection). The customer service agents there had never heard of this brand, but I let them know that is was an AMERICAN MADE company. And they were impressed with the quality and functions of the phone. I Love it!

Expectations best camera ever on any phone I've ever had best price ever hard to find cases but the one they send works good too it is made of silicone highly recommended

This is a great buy!! Verykool acts in a very reputable, caring, high quality manner and you can tell from their emails that they care about their customers. The packaging is great and comes with the phone, battery, screen protector, case, charger, headphones, cleaning cloth, instruction manual and warranty upon arrival - above and beyond! The value for the buy is unbelievable and I am very happy for the way the phone works. In today's quick moving technology world, this is the future. Phones are getting more and more affordable to all, and thats the way it should be. Verykool is a very competitive firm and I would recommend anyone to give this phone a try!

Within 2 months after receiving this phone, it started going haywire. It would change the color to black and white and lines would display across the screen or it would continuously jump. When on whatsapp calls, after a while, it loses wifi, disconnects the call and changes the time to military time. I've still been able to use it by shutting down and powering up again and then it would be normal again. I contacted the seller and they advised me to return it for repair. Since I am currently overseas, I will return it in April when my husband returns to the US. Hopefully they can fix it.
