Great value for money. Beautiful coloring , clear for little ones

I purchased this collection for my grandson and granddaughter and all I can say is wow. These books are very well illustrated and larger than what I thought. I assumed these would be small paperback books but they are not, they are very large and of exception quality. I did purchase them at the sale price of £34.99 which was fantastic. These books also brought back happy childhood memories for this gran.

This box contains a good selection of fairy tales and while they don’t follow the stories exactly, they’re mostly good versions, with decent enough illustrations.The quality does vary a lot from book to book, though. Tales like the three little pigs, the billy goats gruff and the gingerbread man are very well executed, while Cinderella and Pinocchio are definitely not.However, I’d still recommend the set overall.

The books are great because they are not too 'wordy' . My grandchildren are aged between 2 and 4. When I read to them I still have their attention at the end of the story. Funny and relatable illustrations too.

Large books, nice coloured, some stories are a little bit changed, good price

I ordered this set because we love Mara Alperin books. I received the set and was confused when I saw Rapunzel, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid in the set. I just assumed I ordered incorrectly, but tonight I went back through my orders to realize I did order the correct set. I am missing Rumpelstilskin, Chicken Little, and Jack and the Beanstalk and they were apparently swapped out for the above books. The swap was from the same publisher, but the three princess stories are not what I was looking for. It took me way too long to realize (my fault), so I'm not returning and have already purchased the intended books, but keep an eye on your order.
