I am sure the belt itself is fine, if it is on the proper vacuum. The description says it fits a Kirby G4. It does not. This item is part number 554105. It is too large. The proper part number is 554189. The first Picture is my G4 with the original belt on it. The second picture is my original belt with the new belt on the top and the original belt on the bottom. You can clearly see the belt on top is bigger and will slip. The Kirby has no tension adjustment.
