Good value for money for a small garden.Sturdy structure.

We have been looking for a gazebo to go over our pond and the idea for a retractable roof was just ideal for when the sun isn't out, it can be left fully open. The size of this particular gazebo was perfect for our needs.Putting the gazebo together was very easy for 2 people. If you use some common sense, it is very achievable. We built the two separate halves of the gazebo together on the ground with the main legs laying flat, then added the cross beams on to each half and finally added the centre beam on to one half of the gazebo before we turned them upright and maneuvered them into position to finally bolt together. When we were putting the two halves together when they were upright we used a clamp on either side which also made things very easy to align and bolt together.The canopy went together without any issues, just make sure that when you are attaching it to the gazebo you have the good side facing downwards or you will not be able to attach the centre clips.The only bad design of this gazebo is the canopy. As others have said, the canopy should have velcro straps on each corner so when the wind blows a little, it doesn't slide back. We shall be making some straps to use but for the time being we have used zip ties to hold it in place without moving. Also the canopy material is not the best but you cannot grumble due to the price of the gazebo. We shall be making a new canopy when needed from stronger material.

We have large bifold fires which let the sun in all afternoon. Unfortunately there was no way we could buy an awning due to height of roof. This pergola did the trick. It shields the room and doors from the worst of the sun on summer days. I love the retractable awning. On full days we leave it open. It took my husband and I all day to assemble( the instructions recommend three people to be fair). It wasn’t difficult to assemble and is quite sturdy. The middle bar could do with being a bit stronger, especially on winday days. We have secured it to the side of the house and the floor, so it’s not going anywhere. We will remove the roof for the winter. Very pleased with the purchase, great value for money.

Good product easy to assemble

Purchased the pergola in June 2024, seemed okay, but despite the product saying that it will not rustdisappointing over the winter it has rusted. Pointed this out to seller who states as I purchased it in June 24, it is out of guarantee.........not good enough so if you don't plan to take it down when it rains don't buy

2.5 actually out of 5 only because it is strong and fits the space well. Would say you need two people to put this up. Took about 3 hours mostly due to the middle section not fitting properly and so the tracks for the runners do not run smoothly. It looks good but the magnetic stop is not strong enough to hold the retractable roof back in the wind which we have had since putting it up.Instructions were straight forward. My biggest issue was the delivery which was late. When I contacted the seller they said no one was in at the time of delivery which was a lie. When I checked the tracking it hadn’t even arrived with the courier. Then I was asked to wait a few days, then it came the next day when no one was in and they left this massive package at my front door. Luckily for me a visitor to my house moved it. This has been a trial to say the least. Am very disappointed with the response of the seller who basically blamed me straight off for not being at home instead of apologising for what was clearly their error. Would not buy again.

So I brought this because of its reviews, ok where do I start packaging really good arrived early than expected, it's a heavy box so be warned, I've noticed people have complained about it rusts well the reason for that is it's powered coated , it's not bad , now let's get on to putting it up being a retired builder I done it alone , it took me 6 hours i will say now please get someone to help you .the instructions are vague but hey it's come from China no disrespectful pun intended, screw holes and fixings really good quality. It's a solid unit. I didn't use canopy that come with it i ordered the dark grey instead which is Walter proof..please member this that is important they say its 2.2 mtrs hight do not forget that by the time canopy on its smaller. I've put mine on bricks to make it higher.... overall for the price you pay for this canopy as far as I'm concerned it is worth the money just don't get to frustrated cos instructions are a little vague..

A great gazebo for the price. It took me about 2 hours on my own to put up, the hardest part was the cover! I believe the instructions make it more difficult than it needs to be. Put the silver hooks onto the black ones first, then onto the ends. Put the middle hooks on before you clip those poles together once threaded through the canopy loops, then lift the canopy up as a one and slide each row onto the frame. Trying to just put the silver loops on the black clips was difficult whilst reaching up!A great product overall, and I would recommend.
