Q: 2 drive buy limit on a nas drive, makes sense. raid5 or something with not 100% parity overhead would require at least 3 drives. why?

If you're selling "NAS" drives you shouldn't be putting a limit. It looks like they have it at "3" now but some people are creating a NAS with "4". Not answering just hoping the seller reads this.

Q: Is it compatible with dell 9020 sff desktop computer? do i need additional cables or can i connect with existing ones?

Y0u should be OK, as long as you have the two cables there -SATA and power. It is always a good idea to have spare cables of all kinds, just in case. They are inexpensive and often needed when you can't get them.

are these 12TB drives factory sealed retail box?

Is n300 4tb really a cmr. 256mb cache is very suspicious... trim support and erratic large file throughput are tell-tale signs
