AquaC Nano Remora Protein Skimmer with Maxi-Jet 900 Pump

I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL SKIMMERS. AND BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST ONE I HAVE OWNEDFIRST TWO DAYS NO FOAM, AFTER THE 2ND DAY IT STARTED TO SKIM LIKE THEY SAID IT WOULD. DRY FOAM. LOTS OF IT. IT FITS PERFECT IN THE 29 GALL NANO CUBEIM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT. IF YOU ARE GETTING A SKIMMER THIS IS THE ONE TO GETIN MY OPINION

It is not a miracle worker but it definitely does a very good job. Just remember to follow the instructions and clean it regularly.

This is a neat Skimmer in a small package. Fits great on my nano tank and is fairly quiet. Takes a few days to start producing and to quit making microbubbles but that is exactly what the instructions indicate. Setting it up was simple.

This is a great skimmer for a small tank up to about 20 G. It's a must have for your saltwater "fish" tank. Helps keep your water clean between changes.

Easy to set up. Settles in within a few days. Lots of micro bubbles to start but give it time.

I have been looking for a good skimmer for my aquapod for quite a while. I have tried two kinds of simmers without any kind of satisfying results, but the Remora Nano changed this losing streak. The included pump fits into the first chamber, just under the overflow from the display of the tank, and the output pours into the first and second chamber. Installation is very simple, and the skimmer is very efficient. The skimmer makes a good bit of noise out of the box, but this is easily reduced by putting a folded paper towel or cloth in the top of the first chamber. The collection cup is large and easily removed and cleaned.The documentation that came with the skimmer said that the skimmer may not work for a few hours to a few days after first installing, however two hours after staring the skimmer, it had collected a bit of murky water. After a week the skimmer is producing a small bit of murky water and large amounts of dry foam. very low maintenance, very effective and well worth the price.
