the goggles are intriguing filters on the world. I am wearing them as I type. It would be great if instead of contoured plastic as the eyecup they used something like rubber as the hard plastic can be a bit uncomfortable.However, these make great costume props, and they create an interesting optical effect.Walking around while wearing these may be a little dangerous. I am not sure how pleasurable the effect is, but I have found them to be novel while looking at my paintings which have lots of patterns and rippling flows of strokes.As a niche item these fit the bill. The lens coatings may be fragile as the caps that hold them onto the goggles seem to leave marks where there is contact. I am tempted to take the lenses out and use them in a more comfortable goggle.There are two lenses in these pair of goggles, one for the diffraction and the other set for the bug-eye effect.In my younger more adventurous and also unhealthy days these may have been useful for precipitating perceptual experiences... though I admit I am happier and healthier not pursuing those situations so much anymore. Maybe it's a cultural thing...

Got these goggles specifically because it said that they were chrome. They are not chrome, they are plastic covered in chrome colored paint, which will definitely scratch off over time... other than that they are pretty cool. The lenses look awesome but are already scratched a bit and I only wore them once. They are pretty comfortable and it's nice that the headband is adjustable. Please be more specific and less ambiguous when describing the materials used and I think that there will be less people complaining about how they are advertised.

I was expecting the actual goggle part to be made of metal, but it turned out to be plastic. This isn't a bad thing, but my first impression was that they were of a slightly better quality. Still love them though and would def recommend them!

One of my favorite purchases of all time. Great to take and share with friends at concerts, festivals or anywhere with pretty lights :)
