No noise, no too bright, not too dark. Love this clock
I bought 3 or 4 different glow in the dark clocks for my small bathroom. This is a very nice clock. No noise. Does use batteries for the glow in the dark hands and the clock but for me small price to pay to be able to see the time without bright lights. The lighting is adjustable.Really well made.Easy to use. AccurateI love this clock, finally! A good one!

Awesome night clock
PRO: easy to read (at night), accurate, stylish, quietCON: requires multiple batteriesThis clock was a gift to myself. I wanted something I can see at night (even though I have a clock on nightstand). Also, I just like the light show. It has been running several months on the same batteries, so not sure how long they will last yet. I did NOT want the glowing numbers because honestly, I know where the numbers are on the face and I thought they would give too much light. I can easily read them at night. Strange thing...I noticed the lights blink occasionally, at I found it happens when I turn my TV on (???). I'm sure there's some good reason for it, but it really is minor and goes away. Recommend.

Easy to see at night
This is a great clock. I have it in our bedroom and I can read the time without my glasses when I wake up in the middle of the night. Turns on automatically when it gets dark and turns off when the sun comes up. My ONLY complaint is that it will occasionally flicker or flash for several seconds. I bought and returned 2 of these thinking I had just received damaged ones, but the third one does the same flickering thing. I'm keeping this one, but I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of this.

Buy it!!
Ok, it's a clock, what can you say???Well, let's start with quick one day delivery!! But then you open it and it's got a very clean, modern, and upscale look!So I dropped the four AA batteries in and first thing you notice is the smooth "quiet" second hand....no tic tic tic.But that's where my excitement ended.... The clock did not light up as described. I changed the batteries TWICE with new batteries, still nothing...And then darkness arrived, and WOW, this clock lit up exactly as described and it's beautiful....yes, it's a "clock" but you can actually get excited about this thing!!!!Hands light up, face lights up, and the brightness is adjustable!!!!I did not want "glow in the dark," features that rely on daylight to give you a few hours of dim light. this baby is the Maserati of clocks and the price is outstanding!!!Just remember, it's supposed to work in the "dark" and that's what it takes.....total darkness!Buy it, you will not be disappointed!!!

Flawed design
I'll start off by saying I've wanted a product like this for a long time, I just never thought anyone made them. I was very pleased to discover this, and it has fit my needs perfectly. The sad thing is they have some form of a design flaw, they flicker like mad, I've only had mine for a 35 days ... and its the lighting is already starting to fail. Both lights flicker very frequently, and the white min hand has gone out a few times only to come back later.Several reviews have mentioned this, its too common to be one off, I believe it effects most if not all these. As someone very sensitive to light while trying to sleep I always covered my alarm clock, and I used my phone for an alarm. It made owning an alarm clock pointless, even at the dimmest setting this alarm clock could easily illuminate my room.It seems like something stupid, but truthfully after many nights of covering it up I found I sleep easier without it shining directly in my face. So I bought this clock, I set it to the dimmest setting, I can read it easily (when its fully working), and while it produces some light it isn't noticeable in the room (looking at the walls/ceilings).It does get very bright if you wish to set it on max, but not my need. I love it for it's purpose, extremely satisfied, however functionally its not working well. After 35 days I believe the light is failing, and given that extremely short period of time I have very little confidence in functional life.It will still work as a clock in the day time, but I will not be able to read it at night, putting me back in the same spot I was in. Was slightly worse is the fact I paid close to $25 for this, and upon coming back its marked to $10. Not that much money honestly, but I could have got the original clock, and a back up for when this one fails .. while still spending less.I've had it for 35 days, its been flickering about a week now, given how many others mention this, along with the illumination completely failing I simply can not recommend this as a light up clock. If it was better made/more reliable I would have gladly given it 10/10 however there is a serious problem with these, and it appears they don't care enough to address the issue, and will happily sell faulty units to customers hoping it lasts past the return period.1/10 stars---After giving up on the light completely I've used this as a normal wall clock since. Something has happened to it however, I'm not sure what causes the change or why but to clock is consistently losing time. Not something minor like a few mins a month, I'm having up correct it daily, at first I thought maybe just battery starting to die so I replaced it. That hasn't solved the issue however, the clock is slow, roughly 7-10 mins every 24 hours.I correct the clock, and next night yet again it will be slow, if I ignore it for a few days its off nearly half an hour .. I'm having to correct this clock too often, its defeating the purpose of a clock. What more less can someone expect from a clock than for the time to be fairly accurate. If I don't correct this clock for a month its off by hours ...

Beautiful time piece… Love it for accuracy, silent operation and night time illumination
Update Jan 17, 2023 - Continue to love the clock, for BOTH accuracy and looks.. It has not lost more than a couple of seconds, if that, in 3 months of ownership! Love the fact that that it can be dimmed way down, and we can tell the time with a quick glance at night. In fact, all 4 Hito clocks are highly accurate, silent and beautiful time pieces! Completely satisfied.Original Review: Very accurate (observation from 1 week of ownership), totally silent and lovely night time illumination.. Great value for money at $10. Not too thrilled at the purported 6-9 months of battery life for 4 AA batteries (3# for illumination and 1# for time function); ended up ordering 3 more Hito clocks, different 10” size, hoping they’d all be as accurate AND silent as this one!

Great idea poorly executed. Two tries.
First one had broken hand, just dangling, and night lights did not work. Second one night lights also did not work, but kept it because 10" diameter is best for my location and it is very easy to read with minimum light -- great white numbers on black background. I also put in in a window facing north with no direct sun, but plenty of daylight. No glowing from hands and numbers as promised.
