Hugabugg Hugabowls with Vacuum Suction Cup

UPDATE: This edit is a long time coming. The seller contacted me with tips on how to get the suction cup to work correctly after my review. I made the adjustments and it worked perfectly after that! I loved the product.The suction isn't great. We tried it both on his highchair tray and on the table, it slid around very easily and the suction on the highchair tray was poor. It had better suction on the table but my son could still push it around. It also sits very tall, which I was afraid of when I bought it. It's difficult for him to see inside the bowl in order to grab food. Lastly, the bowls are very thin plastic which was also disappointing. I was hoping for a higher quality bowl. All in all I was disappointed with the performance for the price that I paid.

This is the only bowl that actually stays put and does not come off. I have bought other bowls on here that had great reviews, but my 17 month old twin boys would always rip them off right away and make a mess. I know the price is kind of high but you won't regret this purchase, definitely worth it! I've spent more money buying bowls that don't work and are just wasting space in my cupboard now. I want to buy another set to keep on there little table, and one on their high chair table. They are great, would love to see more things from this company!

Our new baby isn't here yet, but we tried out these bowls now with my 4 and 7 year old. We suctioned it to our wood table and none of us can pull the bowls off. We were surprised how easy it was to create that kind of suction- just a few pumps of a button. I've been using the bowls for kid snacks because I like their size and depth and the fact that they have lids.I'm excited to try these on the high chair. Maybe my walls won't need repainted after this new baby starts finger foods.

Loved these so much, I bought more! We have two kits, so we suction the smallest bowl as a cup/bottle holder and the other size bowls for snacks. My 3 yr couldn't even pull this off the baby's high chair tray! These work well and wash easily. You can pull the pump button thing off after sealing the suction. I leave the pumps in a drawer for safe keeping. Great product to keep kids from dumping their bowls!

Once you get the hang of using the suction cup, this thing really stays put. My super strong infant could not remove it (he could with everything else). Wish they made plates!

Vacuum seal is easy for baby to break. Otherwise a good product. We mostly just use the bowls without the vacuum suction thing at this point.

Only complaint is that if the vacuum part gets wet, it rusts. When I push the little button it spits out rusty water now :-( I try not to let it get wet, but when my toddle eats, he usually gets everything messy and therefore it gets wet when I clean it.

We love these bowls for our 1 year old and 3 year old boys. The vacuum will not budge and the bowls are easy to attach. We attach it to the high chair for the baby and the table and coffee table for our 3 year old. It has solved some restaurant problems for our 1 year old as we don't have to put his food directly on their table or risk him breaking one of their plates.
