I can only give one star. The first time I went to use the product one month later when I opened the legs of the monopod, it was disassembled and I could not mount it again. Unfortunately it had been more than 30 days so I could not return it. $ 59.80 to the trashcan. Dont buy it.

I like to be froogle, always looking for the cheapest best deal. And these are the ones to get for monopods. They work great and I use them for my lights and sometimes for other accessories. They are fairly light but they hold up nice and extend a good height retract low. I would buy again if I broke these on accident.

Have had it for two weeks. At first impression, it is sturdy and the leg lock mechanisms work well. The monopod supports my 4 pound gear just fine, so the advertised 6 pound load capacity is real. The included quick release ball head holds my gear at all angles just fine-no slip, and it is a nice plus since ball heads alone go for more $s than I what I paid for this monopod. Will repost after prolonged use if I experience any problems.

I concur with another reviewer, the head alone could cost $18+. The head is pretty fluid side way and the monopod itself is delightfully compact. It's also a twisting kind, so under hurry, it'd help. The handle is soundly ergonomic as well. Under $20, this one is a great deal.

Lightweight and easy to carry. Bonus it has feet and can stand alone. Wind or bumping into it will tip it over, but awesome for what it is.
