Breathing is important, kids!
I wanted to like this mask, I really did, but it just didn't work out. The most important thing I can tell you about the mask is the same thing that other reviewers have already said: the mask is difficult to breathe in and often the ball inside that keeps water from getting in when the mask is submerged gets stuck, so when you resurface your air is cut off until you shake it loose. I just got back from a trip to Maui where we went snorkeling 4 times. Prior to this trip I hadn't been swimming much, however I'm in pretty good physical condition owing to a job that requires I'm on my feet all day moving constantly and lifting quite a bit, so I'm no flabby desk jockey by any means. My first time out with this mask I was having such problems breathing I decided to quit snorkeling and head back to shore to catch my breath. I propped the mask up on my head so I could breathe normally and started swimming back, but I was winded already from the mask. I wasn't a great distance out but I still found it very hard to get back, and there was a scary moment there where I seriously didn't think I was going to make it. My point is, not being able to breathe well is a serious problem, if that's not already obvious. You should really consider this before buying this type of mask. The concept is great, the reality needs some design work. I will say that after knowing the limitations of the mask it worked a bit better, but that's because I made sure I took it easy and stopped to float quite a bit. If that's what you plan on doing the mask may work for you, but I also have to add if you're not familiar with swimming in the ocean it's not necessarily a leisurely thing. You have to maintain your position against currents and waves, sometimes just to stay in the same spot, the ocean is huge and powerful and constantly moving and it can get a little chaotic out there so a mask that requires you to leisurely swim is not ideal. During the trip I tried my wife's more traditional mask and snorkel rig and it was much easier to breathe in, no problems at all. The other issue with the Seafin was slight leaking, but I think that may have been due to getting the wrong size and it only leaked a very little. My face measurement was a little over 4.5 inches so I followed the instructions and got a S/M size, which ended up being too small. Since my purchase I see the seller has recommended to one user in the Q&A section to get a size larger if you're male and on the borderline, I wish I'd known that beforehand and if you too are right in between sizes, I suggest you get the larger size if you're dead set on getting this. One more small problem is that the mask seems to scratch pretty easily, I only used it four times and it's pretty scratched up, although not enough to obscure my view, in fact I didn't even notice it until I got home and was inspecting the mask to see if it was in good enough shape to return it. Unfortunately my return window is closed. Everything else about the mask was satisfactory for a single week long trip, the mask didn't fog at all in mostly warm Hawaiian waters and Shark Gear were great about following up after my purchase to see if I was happy, unfortunately at the time they contacted me I hadn't used the mask yet. It's a great idea, but until they improve the snorkel to make breathing easier and keep the floating ball from cutting off your air almost every time you go under a bit, I can't recommend anyone use this snorkel mask unless they're just going to float in a calm pool with it, but why would you do that...

Very nice!
I love how its hands free, which allows for free movement and saves your mouth from holding the traditional tube. It really doesnt fog up and when fitted right, leak free. It does have a funk smell so I will be washing it very well. Only 2 things I would change. 1) all colors should have the gopro mount. 2) the snorkel needs to be longer. It is rather short for snorkeling. Waves will easily overtake it.

A Very Good Buy
Bought this mask for the wife after a Hawaii vacation. She was having trouble using her long-time snorkel tube after getting braces off. The snorkel tube was rubbing sores in her mouth. We saw similar masks to the Evo mask being used by other snorkels, including several locals, all of whom liked their masks. After doing some research on-line, we opted to try the Evo mask. She found it to be very comfortable in our pool, and leak-free.Some of our friends and their kids tried the Evo mask also, and several have ordered their own. The only issue we found was that the Small Evo was still too big for some of the kids under 12 years old. Perhaps Evo should offer an XS size, like a few of their competitors.Overall, we found the Evo Snorkel Mask to be very comfortable, leak-free, and a very good buy.

We LOVE our SeaFin Masks
We LOVE our SeaFin Masks. We ordered a few last year for a trip to the DR, they made snorkeling SOOO much better. We liked them so much this year we ordered one for our 10 year old son too. He was so excited when we got it in, he has worn it in the pool and is super excited for our trip to Florida. We recommend this brand and mask to all of our friends. (So much so that my in-laws got themselves a set too :) )

The better to see you, my dear fishies!
I bought these masks as gifts and have tried out one I own, but not these two. However, I would never buy a regular snorkel mask again. This style of mask is so easy to use and easy to see through, making the snorkel experience even better than before. This company ships promptly and has a nice looking product with a reasonable price.

Great Mask, just not for me.
It's a really neat idea and worked well. I talked to many other people who were using them and they loved it. The problem I found was if you are a free diver and go to a depth that plug your ears, it was really hard to clear your ears because I can't pinch my nose, it's all under the facemask. That was kind of a pain. Also, my son felt a little claustrophobic in the mask. It's a very well made product, just not for me.

John's) and they are just great! For those who do struggle with single eye/snorkel ...
These masks are fabulous! We used them for the first time at Trunk Bay (St. John's) and they are just great! For those who do struggle with single eye/snorkel sets, this is the answer. No fogging, no water to get in, and if you do chose to dive the air piece automatically closes up as you shift positions to keep water out. You have clear peripheral vision and it is great. Two thurmbs up.

Love these!
We purchased these in both sizes for a recent trip and really enjoyed using them. My husband gets claustrophobic in regular snorkel gear and this fit the bill. They are easy to assemble. We are still perfecting the fit to prevent leaks and fogging, but overall we're able to snorkel for an hour at a time with minimal adjustments.
