Used to get a little extra light while reversing in my 2016 Tacoma Off-Road. The results were not as dramatic as I thought they would be from the product photo but I believe my reverse lights were already pretty bright. In the attached pictures you can see an increase is Illuminated area and also the camera adjusts for brightness so the difference may seem even smaller you can tell how much whiter the light is by how the surrounding lights look even more amber. In the attached pictures the bottom half shows the truck with the new lights in it. The difference is not huge but for $20 and a super simple plug and play I am happy with it. in case my other comment was not posted correctly (from my phone) I absolutely am super happy with these lights!!! My father has graveyard shift and is home usually 3-4am...due to our parking accommodation and his truck (2010 Honda Ridgeline) It's easiest for him to back up our driveway (about 100 or so feet to the back...+/-) Anyway, the old lights (stock) were so dim it was barely visible, now with these LED"s WOW!!! super amazing to see everything around them. Even at his work, his parking area has no light post and he must rely on the trucks' light. now this makes it so much easier to see all vehicles around.(see pictures). =)

I deliberated between the JDM 800 lumen and the JDM 1000 lumen LEDs, and needless to say, I am quite please that I opted for the slightly more expensive 1000 lumen LEDs.My initial impression was, "these things feel cheap." For this is exactly why, as my parents taught me, "one should never judge a book by its cover."Install (2016 Ford Flex) was quite simple, gratis YouTube. After removing two light assembly screws, I had both LEDs installed in mere minutes.Unlike the OEM bulls, which radiate an opaque yellowish-white light, these JDM LEDs radiate a true (exceptionally bright) white light... there's almost a blue hint to the white. These LEDs really brought to life the video feed from the rear backing camera. I highly recommend these LEDs.I decided that I will now buy JDM LEDs for the interior, fog, turn and brake.As a side note, the level of customer service provided by JDM Astar is phenomenal. They stand behind their product(s) and make sure their customer's are satisfied with their purchase.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Would give 10 stars if I could. I have been looking for a good replacement for the OEM 921 bulb to put in my reverse lights. The tinted windows on my truck make it a challenge to see anything behind me with the stock bulbs. I purchased a couple of other filament bulbs like Sylvania Silverstars and wasn't pleased before I moved on to LED bulbs. After 3 different LED bulbs I finally found one that impresses me! Not sure if this lamp is truly a 1000 lumen bulb but I can say my reverse lights look more like driving lights than standard tail lamps. Definitely will be buying more for my wife's Lexus and the cargo lamps on the cab.... Awesome!(Pic info) These pictures were taken at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on an overcast day. I darkened the contrast on the full rear end pictures of the truck to show a difference of these new LED's in taillights and the stock 921's in the cargo lamps on the cab. Unfortunately, since it was daytime the camera doesn't show how much brighter these bulbs really are... You won't regret buying these bulbs!

I advise to everyone buy from this JDM Astar because of allot reasons:1- His delivery it's on time .2- His packaging is good each light came in deferent plastic bag and over them a bubble page for safety.3- The items inside the package its all in one piece and brand New nothing is broking.4- The lights inside the package is very good high quality.Now I well talk little bet about it :Since I am overseas delivery and amazon doesn't sport thatI had to use two ways for shipping 1st from Amazon to my mail boxIn U.S (Aramex) and 2nd from the US box to Saudi Arabia in the beginningI thought it well take more time than the normal shipping shows butIt didn't and I have been charged 61 Saudi Ryals which is equal to 15.64$Because of Waiting second thing I didn’t expect that kind of quality its very niceand very good and extremely bright like Xenon now I well but some pictures at same time I receive and after install and some comparison between old stuck and the ones from JDM Astar and the pictures well tell what is besti will give an update after trying the lights on my car for long term and tellhow long they well last on a car installing date 05/Aug/2016 .I will buy the rest of interior light and light plate and signals light from JDM Astar since I know their quality right now and I will do the same review on them with pictures .New update about the pack up light until this day 19/11/2017 they still working fine with me .If any one planning to by like thim don't hesitate at all and go on 👍

Very good improvement on illuminating behind vehicle in the dark. I found the light output comparable to more expensive lamps. However the tapered design prevents full insertion and secure fit in the socket on both a 2012 F150 & a 2006 Toyota HIghlander. They lamps are tight in the connectors but are not fully seated.

This is a review less for the bulb (which is amazing and deserves its 5 stars, but mostly for the exceptional customer service of JDASTAR. I was attempting to put the right bulb in the wrong socket (low beam in the place of high beam). And had gotten myself very frustrated. I called customer service (JD star) , certain that the wrong bulb had been sent (i.e. that it was all their fault). The fellow on the phone with whom I was far too snarky, was extremely patient and explained to furious me, in the most gentle way, that I'd gotten confused. Yep. So to big cheers for JDAStar!

I wasted a full day's labour using a multi meter to trouble shoot these bulbs, and a code reader to reset the check engine light. First try they blew a fuse, not the marked back up light fuse but a very hard to get at under dash fuse. Meaning along with the back up lights, the whole dash was now non functional, but the marked back up light fuse was still good. Second try one of the bulbs immediately started smoking and caught fire like a mini arch welder scorching the plastic socket. If I had installed the bulbs without checking them it could have caught the whole car on fire. My educated guess is one of two possibly related causes. First the bulbs are shipped unprotected together in a zip lock bag, allowing the miniature surface mount components to bang against each other in the mail possibly causing damage. Second the basic design is just asking for trouble. The tiny components are installed on the circuit board prongs that go into the bulb holder. There is not even any silastic coating to protect the exposed control circuitry from shorts. Finally I think it is possible the bulb was manufactured with a surface mount component to far down the circuit board prong that goes into the bulb holder allowing it to make direct contact with the metal prong of the bulb holder, as it was clear the short circuit was with the end of one of the metal prong in the socket. As can be seen from the picture, not pretty. I would not recommend ANY LED bulb with exposed surface mount circuitry.

I'm blown away by these, this is a massive upgrade to stock bulbs. I should have got these years ago! A+ETA: This is an amazing company that truly stands behind their products. When I get my new headlights and tails lights I will be changing all bulbs to LED from JDM. Bravo.
