A great, durable, expandable hose with brass fittings!
The media could not be loaded. update June 2017:Originally I had purchased two of these. The first one burst at the top of the hose late last year. Today, the second one popped right in the middle of the hose while I was watering. There was no blisters or any sign of wear when this happened. At this time I had low water pressure as I only had the water turned on a quarter of a turn.I have dropped my rating down initially from five stars to one star. I have done everything that is recommended by the manufacturer, by using light water pressure and keeping it out of the sun. You most likely will not be able to get more than a year out of this product.I had high hopes for this hose. Initially, it worked fantastic and I loved it. But, after two hoses failed after about 50 uses... it's time to look for something else. Bummer. Waste of money.update Feb 2017:As much as I love this concept of the expandable hose, I am not in love with it as I first was. Initially using this product was wonderful, as it worked perfectly as advertised. After use I made sure to cover from the harsh sun as it was recommended. However, after using it off and on for four months, the hose developed a couple warts near the top of the hose and then eventually popped. I did not do anything out of the ordinary except use it with normal use. The brass fittings still were solid and never leaked. I did buy two hoses for two different sides of the house, and the least used hose still is doing okay.I reached out to Dignitree to see if they would honor replacing the defective hose. After sharing a picture with the manufacturer they kindly shipped out a replacement hose. They recommended only turning the faucet on half way to help with the pressure near the beginning of the hose where it meets the faucet. I will try this to see if this works better.Due to the issues I had, I dropped my 5 star rating to 4 stars. That said, should you have an issue with your hose, you should have no problem getting it replaced. Just have to be more careful with it. Also added picture of broken hose.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Review: I have been looking for a good hose for our home for awhile now, and have been debating on buying a retractable/expandable hose. There are many expandable hoses on the market, but they all have terrible reviews. I saw the reviews for the 25ft Dignitree hoses were overwhelmingly positive so I decided to pull the trigger for the 50ft hose (I actually bought two! One for each side of the house.)At first I couldn't believe how small the packaging was for a 50ft hose! It's amazing! I couldn't wait to try it out. I also was happy to see that it actually comes with the shower nozzle! How cool is that. The brass fittings on the hose are very durable and I was able to screw it onto my faucet very easily (probably the easiest i've ever had for a hose!). Turned on the water and watched the hose grow to 50ft long. Pretty cool. The nozzle seems to be similar to the so-called generic $10 ones at the store, but hey, it comes with it, so thats a bonus in my book. I would like to mention the nozzle is needed, as you really cant use the hose without it, due to the unique design. If you take the Sprayer off, and try to do the 'use your thumb on the end of the hose to make the water go farther' trick, you won't be able to do it. You need the nozzle to spray. At the end near the sprayer there is a shutoff which makes it convenient when you want to remove the sprayer without getting wet. Great idea!We have had this hose for one week now and it is has been very durable for us, lightweight, and very easy to move around. We LOVE the fact when you drain the hose, it completely retracts and is easy to put away! It really is amazing.I would say my only concern would be is where the hose connects at the faucet. It appears if the hose is pulled as far as it could go, it does tend to pinch right at the faucet. I have not experienced any problems with this yet particular situation yet, but if I do, I will be sure to modify my review. But at this time all is well, I have not experienced any leaks at all, and we are very happy with our purchase! What's even nice is my 5 year old can water the garden now, because he is now able to move this hose very easily because it is so light!I hope my video and pictures are helpful. I did NOT get this at a discount for a review. However, I am very happy with this purchase and wanted everyone to know! :)

Great hose!
Bought this hose last summer and I loved it. However it sprung a leak at the nozzle end. It was beyond the 30 day return policy so I duct taped it and used it leaks and all for the rest of the summer. When I put my original review on here of how much I loved it until it leaked, seller contacted me and asked me for pictures and then promptly sent me a new hose. I just got it out and started using it about 2 weeks ago. Fingers crossed that it holds up because I swear this is a great hose and seller went above and beyond as far as I'm concerned to make sure I was happy with my purchase even after the 30 day return was up. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the one weak spot I think the hose has is the rubber comes out from the brass fitting when the hose is on and stretches out of the fitting and I think that is what caused the leak on mine. Its a shame there isn't some way to keep that rubber piece in place so as not to put wear on that area. I'll update at the end of summer and see if it held up.

I love the idea of an expandable garden hose
The media could not be loaded. The product arrived on time and is as pictured. I love the idea of an expandable garden hose, not horribly kink-able hose! High quality Spandex (stretchy polyurethane fabric) material is used in this hose set. I also like that it's so compact. It doesn't sprawl all over when not in use and there's no need for a hose reel. It takes very little room. The nozzle has 8-way pattern spray head settings, which is more than I usually use, but I like having the option.Hose set has strong brass rather than plastic connectors. These brass fittings is going to be more durable than breakable plastic. It has a shut off valve, which is very beneficial to me. I had no problem putting on the Spray Nozzle or taking it off.I would recommend few quick trick for hose longevity:' When in use do not put the water pressure all the way up, keep faucet at about half force.' Once done with hose use, drain it completely. (the hose will automatically contract back to its original shape.)' Keep it under shade if you are living in extreme weather place.I am pleased so far with the quality and function of this hose. Seeing the hose expands once the water starts filling it is pretty cool! It does reach 50ft. With multiple spray head settings, I am going to use the hose for car and floor washing too. I am going to read the free ebook link provided with product package, love to learn about birding in North America.

Follow the instructions!
The hose burst within about 20 minutes of use. After it burst I read the instructions more carefully. Unlike similar "pocket hoses" the instructions for this one say upon initial filling with water you need to stretch it out fully to ensure none of the cover is bunched up. I'll never know how long mine would have lasted if I had done that. I hope this caution helps someone else in the future as I will not be buying another one.

Easy to store
For the first few month of use, I adored this hose! Easy to store, lightweight when not in use, & excellent spray nozzle! Sadly, after a few months of daily use, the hose developed a large leak. Now, if I want to water with the hose, I get a personal shower as well! :-/ 5 stars for use before leaks develop. 1 star for longevity of the product.
