Best mug of Harry Potter and looks pretty cool.

Great gift for Potter fans
I bought this as a gift for a close relative. Her home burned to the ground in 2021 so she had none of her childhood keepsakes. She absolutely loved this mug. It comes out of the box looking like a plain black coffee cup. When she added her hot drink it became a very cool Hogwarts surprise. There were squeals of delight from a grown woman. I would definitely recommend this for any Harry Potter fan.

Teenage Daughter + This Mug = Happy Single Dad
I'm a single father with 2 teenagers, and I bought this mug as a gift for my 13-yr-old daughter, who is a huge Harry Potter fan. She absolutely loved it. Now when she's making tea or hot chocolate, I get a little extra smile and sometimes even a kiss on the cheek and a "I love you Dad" which isn't too common with teenagers these days! By the way, the mug works exactly as it should -- black when cold, visible map when hot. I'd definitely recommend this if you need a gift for your own Harry Potter fan.

Great gift for a Harry Potter fan
Got this as a gift, they loved the mug. Keep in mind that it is NOT dishwasher safe, I never put it in the microwave, but my gf (whom I bought it for) said that it shouldn't be microwaved as well. Also, over time (a year later) the dark look of the mug will fad a bit and you can see the map drawings slightly when the mug doesn't have hot liquid in it. Still a great mug and it's fun to watch the map go from dark and not really visible to bright whenever you pour a hot drink.

Pretty cool transformation. You can see some color variation when cool, but it really does pop when filled with hot liquid. Great gift!

Great mug -- superb quality!
My wife ia a big Harry Potter fan and also a big coffee/tea drinker. Surprised her with this mug for Christmas and she was thrilled. It's a decent size, perfect for use with her Keurig. Wouldn't pay this price for my own everyday mug, but it was worth every penny to see the look on her face the first time the mug changed color when it got warm. Personally, I love how the entire thing changes color -- even the handle changes when I'm washing it in hot water -- and not just bits and pieces with basically a sticker around the mug as some others do. Highly recommended!
