This Acacia Wood Cutting Board is a beautiful product that has a hearty wood grain look with a smooth texture. Such a strong and resilient board that is tough enough for the job at hand. I've cut steaks, vegetables, fruit, etc.. This board has maintained its integrity and has been safe enough to have different meats and vegetables cut on it without compromising safety. The fact that it is non porous safely protects from cross contamination with no juices absorbing into the board. This cutting board is not only functional but so beautiful! I purchased the yellow pepper and am amazed with the quality. It came in a nice bag for storing if you want, but this is a piece you can leave on your counter and it's not an eye sore like most cutting boards!! This would make a perfect house warming or wedding gift!

This is absolutely my new favorite cutting board. Coming from using bamboo cutting board and plastic cutting boards, I can definitely say that Acacia wood is a way better platform. The wood is very smooth and soft feeling. Almost makes you not want to cut on it and rather just admire it instead. But I had to cut on it to actually test it out. With light vegetable cutting, I noticed it didn't leave marks from the knife all over the board. It remained smooth. So as far as functionality, its great. But its apperance is what really makes this stand out over other boards. First off it comes with a carring case. I've never received and/or purchased a cutting board and included was a carrying case. Secondly, its shaped like a bell pepper. How cool is that. Not the traditional four-sided cutting boards that are pretty much the norm in most households. Although, I would have liked if there had been an option on the color of the bezel, I may have selected something like green because it reminds me more of a bell pepper. Or maybe even red as that would match my kitchen decor. But the yellow is cool too. Not going to remove a star for such a reason. Overall, the best cutting board I've seen and used. I leave it out on display and have received quite a few compliments from guest.
