Just unboxed this size 10 Abu Garcia Max Pro. I have not put line on the reel or fished with it. I bought it to pair with an Ugly Stick GX2 light action rod and 6lb. braid. With all those ball bearings it is a very smooth reel. It has the refinements that seem to come with the latest high end reels: no anti-reverse switch, and a maximum drag of "only" 6.5 lbs. Some reviews seem to complain about the size of this reel, so I took some photos comparing this size ten to:1. Shakespeare ultralite 2500 ULX (size 5)2. Daiwa 1000C (a size 10)3. KastKing Crixus 2000 (size 20)4. Abu Garcia Black Max (size 20)5. KastKing Crixus 4000 (size 40)As you can see, this is really a size 10. Hope this helps. I might update this review after I do some fishing. So far it seems to be a very smooth reel and the size is just what I expected. Can't give it more stars until I know more.
