My cockatiel and 3 budgies absolutely love this food. They all know what the bag looks like and what it means and my cockatiel especially gets happy and tapps his little feet when he sees the food bag delivered. The only downside is he is a white faced cockatiel so the food does dye his feathers green around his mouth. Photo attached is one of our budgies standing IN the food bowl so he's king of the bowl

There is so much waste with this product. There are whole sunflower seeds and things that look like cat food in it. I had previouy bought this years ago because it is a big bag and it's affordable and when we had 3 Cockatiels. I figured it was worth it. But they wasted the food pushing out all the cat food like bits and whole sunflower seeds and much more would be lost in the process. I started during the pandemic buying it again because the variety they didn't waste was harder to get. Now even with 1 bird left, he bird will empty his feeder in 2 days pushing this out. My dog, a lab and a pig who is on a diet, trys to clean it up off the floor and out of the tray. I went back to the cockatiel feed I was able to get before the pandemic. That one has no sunflower seeds or cat food like kibble. To my dogs dismay, the bird doesn't waste it anymore. This feed here is supposed to be a feed for cockatiels, but I really think it is better for larger birds. Maybe it's just been my birds who don't like those things, but I'm better off paying more for something that doesn't get wasted, eaten by the dog or makes a mess. Sorry, I know this company has been around awhile and probably others like it fine, it just really isn't working for me.
