I waited to use this product before writing a review. This Banneton works just fine. I dusted it with corn meal prior to proofing my sourdough. The loaf released easily and had the classic shape. The cloth worked well as a cover as I did not use it on the inside with my recipe. The silicone scraper is of good quality with a raised grip portion that fits the hand well. I am well pleased with this purchase. The vendor sent a couple of emails and included an attachment with additional usage and recipe instructions. The emails were not additional advertisements, which I appreciated.

I ordered two of these. The bowls are poor quality and it does NOT come with the silicone scraper.

The inside was very rough and had splinters all in side very disappointed about this. This is suppose to be smooth for your bread dough I don't want dough with wood in it. Don't believe I got what I payed for. I don't think the in side will ever be food grade with out the liner.The company sent out a new basket right away and it was perfect. The way I expected it to be. I have made a few loafs now & I'm extremely happy with it. Thank you for responding and sending out a better product😊

This banneton is made in China. If I had known this I would not have purchased it. Instead, I would have ordered a real Brotform.

I used this proofing basket for the first time over the weekend (while making my first artisan loaf of sourdough bread). 100% successful! Great basket, excellent quality, and I really appreciated the email communication from the company on how to use it for the first time. I highly recommend it.

Item is just what I was looking for. I feel the price is very high.
