I think this book is very thorough in what it is saying and my dogs seem to love their gentle massages. I was impressed with the detail not only about the massage itself but the anatomy, etc, of the dog. I would definitely recommend it.

My older dog the massages helps her to walk and feel better. I would recommend this book if you need help with your older dog getting around.

i purchased this book as i have elderly poodles, one of which has been diagnosed by the vet as haveing "arthritis/general ageing joint pain" so i hoped the book would be a guide to learning massage to help him, alongside giving his prescribed medication, and i also asked my vets opinion, before entering into appling massages. i found the book is very informative, clearly explains words and terms used, so you are not confused by any "jargon", and i have been able to learn the techniques suggested, and my dog seems to be a little easier in moving his legs, the joints seem to loosen up afterwards, also, my other dogs enjoy a gentle neck and shoulder massage just to relax them!! so in all, this book is an asset, and i would reccomend it to other owners.

Lovely book that shows you how to massage your dog. Used it on one of my whippets. He was a bit aloof and not very affectionate which is not like a whippet at all. Since starting to massage him daily for 2 weeks now, he has become much more affectionate and engaged. Am very hopeful that with the help of this book I will have a loving whippet.

Good read and easy to follow , have used this on my pug . He suffers with hip dysplasia and I have seen a relief to his pain. The bonus is he enjoys the massage.

This is a fantastic, inspiring, clear book, full of valuable information and lots of photographs (not diagrams, as is so often the case). Just the right level and tone for a layperson. Really happy with the choice I made.
