Great little device.
Long term user and this device has great. Plugged it in to my 2010 JaguarXK a few years back and it’s worked perfectly ever since. Sound quality is superb, all controls work and I get track info on car infotainment screen (text - no graphics). Tested with multiple iPhone models from XS to 14Pro all running running iTunes. Phone calls still work via the regular Bluetooth system and when the call is canceled it automagically switches back to music.

The item arrived quickly and enclosed in a plastic case with instructions. I'm using this adapter in a 2011 Jaguar XKR paired with an iPhone 15 on which I have my iTunes library. I don't subscribe to Apple Music. A bonus that I wasn't expecting is that a short USB to USB-C cable was included (not shown in product photo) that you use to connect the adapter to the USB outlet in the vehicle centre console (in addition to the 30-pin iPod connection) so the adapter powers up each time you switch (or leave) the vehicle's audio on. I was a little skeptical about the sound quality through the bluetooth pairing to my iPhone but the sound is amazing, equal to the onboard CD player in the car. I have the switch on the adapter set to iPod mode, which allows use of the steering wheel volume and track skip (forward and back) buttons. It also displays the music library folders (artist/album/song) on the infotainment display and allows switching between them, and displays the current track both in the Audio and Home screens. I can also play Spotify through the adapter but there is no display on the screens other than current track. If you want to switch playlists on Spotify, that has to be done using the phone. Two small gripes: The volume output could be better; I have to turn the iPhone's volume up to about 80-90% and the car system volume up to at least 50% to get decent volume (especially with the convertible top down). The other inconvenience is that I like to play all the songs in my iTunes library randomly on shuffle. CarPlay allows you to do that and it remembers that setting each time. The Invery adapter however reverts to the alphabetical song listing and the first song in the library each time the phone disconnects when removed from the vehicle, so I have to go into the Music app on the phone and set that to "shuffle" play each time the phone reconnects to the adapter (FYI, the phone pairs to the vehicle and the Invery adapter pairs to the phone). Both are relatively small complaints compared to being able to access my entire song library instead of being limited to the 6 CDs I have loaded at any given time, and with perfectly acceptable sound quality too!

I have this working in my 2010 Jaguar XF, really pleased with the sound quality playing from a Spotify Premium account on my low-spec Android 11 phone. Quick user note, for those just getting started with playing music from a phone - tracks might struggle to play properly at first if you are streaming them 'live' for the first time. This might explain why a few users thought the device itself was dropping out? It's possibly just that you don't have the strong 4G connection you'd need to pull straight from Spotify. Downloaded tracks seem to play instantly and seamlessly. Track names, but not artist names, are displayed on my XF's media screen. Touch screen works on the car display and, of course, directly on the phone. Steering wheel controls work perfectly. Only strange thing is that a playing time ? is shown on the car screen that seems pretty meaningless. Overall, it's great, especially for sound quality.
