Are these components able to fit in the original box?

They fit very easily even with both expansions. I also got the Broken Token in box organizer which keeps it all very organized.

Does this expansion work if you are already using the expansion game to add more players? Or will this only work with 4 players? (or fewer).

Passion (and the other 2 forthcoming Great Facades expansions) are compatible for 1 to 6 players.

Is the 5-6 player expansion required for the passion expansion?

Nope, the 5-6 player expansion is not required. However, the Passion expansion does have enough of each component to be able to play up to 6 players when combined with the 5-6 player expansion

Can this be combined with the other Sagrada expansion set to accommodate *more* than 5-6 players?

Unfortunately, no... This expansion adds new options for playing (individual player powers, new objectives, etc.) that are compatible with all player counts (1 to 6 players)
