Alternative Photographic Accessories: Historical and Alternative Photography

If you're interested in traditional photography and traditional processes this is a fun book to have. And, if you are using alternative photographic processes it's even useful too. My recommendations.

not worth the money

I enjoyed reading these ideas but due to the availability of some cheap plate racks for example, I doubt I would make my own. Good info on pin hole camera making and I will refer back to this guide for exposure info when I want to use a disk to work out times to raise the shutter. All in all, a great price for an interesting read if this is your kind of hobby.

The descriptions of the techniques are lacking in detail, particularly for the UV light source.Not worth the amount paid, several of the books on alternative photo technique have better instructions on making one's own accessories.

Great Book

A very good book if you are a handyman. You will find detailed explanations to make your own accessories for wet collodion among others.
