While this head is well-made (in Australia) , their proprietary replacement lines are apparently Once Again no longer available to U.S. buyers."Sure Load" appears to have been taken over by a different company. Back to 1 Star Rating I now have a well-made trimmer head, BUT no way to continue using it. THUMBS DOWN on this one.(AUG-2018) Now that a (the?) merchant has contacted me and advised the replacement lines are now available, I have ordered them ($14.00 - for 80) and they are now in my possession. I am, therefore, changing my 1 Star review to 4 Stars as I really like this Sure Load trimmer head and the ease and speed with which you can install the replacement "line". Happy to have this part of my lawn maintenance arsenal back in operation.This Sure Load Handy Camel trimmer should get a 5 Star Rating. I bought it on Amazon in Aug. 2017 (less than a year ago) and it's worked like a charm. Trims great and replacement trim lines can be replaced in a flash. Not sure how many replacement lines come with trim head...maybe 15The one star rating, however, comes from not now being able to easily buy the 80 pack of replacement lines that were once offered on Amazon for $14.00. Not 1 listing for this Australian made proprietary item (replacement lines). Without new replacement lines, this trim head is worthless - and you've wasted $30. If you want to order direct from the company in Australia, you'll pay a premium... $20.00 & shipping. Good luck with that. These line replacements, much like computer printer ink, are vastly over-priced for pieces of plastic. It's obvious this company is thinking this is where they'll make a killing. Thumbs down to this! Unhappy customer.

I really like the cutting power they would slice through most weeds. The upheld for awhile before wearing down. This is an easy conversion. Those are the pros. The cons are when this does break they can be a pain the switch out versus just having a line where you can tap it to extend the line. With this said you will always have to stop the job just to exchange the teeth and when getting into brier or harder weeds they hit it hard and can break easy because they are thick and don’t bend like a line will. So after this and after multiple cuts. I can say three stars total.

Works better that the tap head trimmer which was always getting jammed up. Lasts longer than my previous individual string replacement head trimmer. The only negative was the replacement washer was 1/16 to small and had to be drilled out to fit on my Echo trimmer.

This replacement head was a snap to install. I like how easy it is to replace the cutting lines , literally seconds. They're not as durable as I would like though , i may try zip ties , as they would fit into this head system. Getting away from winding all the line up , 2 times for each side in a stick cutting head is priceless. Overall I love the concept of this head...

It took a few minutes of tinkering to finally get it on. Our main complaint is the replacement strings. They're very easy to put on but are brittle and break. We went through 20 doing our yard one time. We were going to order more, then saw how much they cost. It would be more affordable if we just bought a different head that takes regular line. Bummer. It would be better if they were made out of something more durable.

Did not like, it was more like beating the grass down instead of trimming.

These pieces are extremely easy to install and work well. The only complaint is that they are not as durable as I would have hoped. I have just shy of a half acre yard and I typically use six pieces to edge and weed eat my yard. Otherwise, these things are terrific!

This thing is AWESOME. So easy to change the cords. I don't even need to shut off my weed whacker to change them. I get the yard done much faster now.
