Contigo AUTOCLOSE Shake & Go Tumbler, 20 oz., Scuba

This is currently my favorite on-the-go cup. I have both the 16 oz. and 20 oz, but find that I use the 16 oz. the most. Here are the things I like about: -Having a clear tumbler was a must because I love making layered drinks. Have a look at the uploaded picture: iced strawberry almond milk with matcha latte. Beat that, Starbucks! The trick is to use lots of ice. Also, layer the liquid with the most sugar content on the bottom. -If it is a drink that needs to be mixed, I am able to shake it up without the straw inserted and there are no leaks to be found. -It feels pretty durable and has no scratches. I do use this tumbler quite often. -It's convenient that I can just throw everything in the dishwasher. *UPDATE* 3/20/2018 It's been a year since I've purchased these tumblers and still going strong! I haven't found any other product that I would like better. The straws broke recently, but I think it's due to my negligence when handling them. No big deal. I might purchase some stainless steel straws to use.

My cup arrived when expected and in perfect condition. I was slightly worried after reading other reviews, but nothing was broken or missing. It did have a couple of black splotches on the white portion on the lid, as others have mentioned, but they came right out after a little scrubbing. It works effectively as it says (Shake & Go). I love using it for my iced coffees and shaking the heck out of them. No spillage at all unless it's overfilled, but that's totally my fault, lol. Someone has mentioned in other comments that it "sweats" due to condensation. I find that it does so very little. The quality feels great. It's been dropped a few times already and has still been fine. The straw is slightly worrisome, as it is not as strong a plastic as I would have expected, so I've been gentle with it. I also wash it in the dishwasher, top track as it states one should and no issues or melting to report. Overall very happy with this purchase! The color sooo lovely too!

I love this water bottle! I work an office job and try to drink the recommended 60+ ounces of water daily. I have gone through several water bottles. I have found that water bottles with a simple straw are easiest to use and encourage me to drink the most water. I had a cheap straw water bottle for 6 months and it would no longer screw shut due to overuse. So I then purchased this one. I already have a Contigo coffee cup and it has held up very well and is well made. This water bottle is well made, a pretty purple color, and easy to use. I also love that when the straw is removed there is a small piece that snaps shut making this bottle spill proof and also easier to use as a shaker bottle. I trialed Plexus Slim (a powder supplement that is mixed with water). It was very awkward to mix it in my cheap straw water bottle. I wish I had this bottle when using Plexus Slim. If I ever have the need for the shaker feature of this bottle in the future, I am all set! Other water bottles I have tried include Brita, Klean Kanteen, Camelbak Eddy, Nalgene, a cheap infuser water bottle, a cheap straw water bottle. This one is my favorite! I love that this is a larger size (20 ounces) so you can drink more at once. My only gripe is that because it is a taller water bottle you cannot easily fill it up in a shallow sink.

I purchased and have been using this cup for several weeks. I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for, something that is sturdy, looks good, is easy to hold, easy to clean - all at a great price! (For some reason the clear cup was less expensive than the colored cups - I wanted clear.) The shape is perfect - tapers slightly only in the middle, making it easy to grab and hold, but it does not taper down at the bottom. Many other cups are slimmer at the bottom to fit in car cup holders and feel too top-heavy when using them outside of the car. I use this cup at home, and it looks great - not like I'm using a water bottle. I never worry about this cup tipping over. It's insulated enough to hold my iced drinks for a reasonable amount of time. I After trying many different cups that I bought at different stores, this is the best cup I've tried. I'd buy it again, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

This really is the perfect cup. It holds a high amount of liquid 20 ounces, it’s see through which I like to be able to see how much liquid is left, it keeps the drink cool for a reasonably long period of time 1-2 hours, if you knock it over it spills a very small amount, it’s easy to hold, the straw is quite easy to clean with a thin brush, extremely well made mine lated around 2-3 years before the straw finally cracked. All in all You really can’t ask for a better cup.

It's a great bottle but doesn't go with other brands straws.

Ive been into protein shakes ever since a friend introduced me to them. I make my own and bring them to the gym with me so that I can enjoy them after my workout. I used to make them with a blender but that takes me a while. For convenience sake, I wanted to try using a tumbler so I got this product. Making the shakes is super easy. I add the powder, skim milk, and ice to the tumbler and shake it up (it seals tightly if the straw is out). Theres no need for a blender or spoon or anything which makes it super convenient. When I’m finished I add in the straw and I’m good to go. The way it works, theres actually a little door that you have to push down on with the straw- this holds it in place and prevents major spills. Some of the liquid might drip out here and there but you won’t end up with a big mess. Its dishwasher safe (put it on the top-rack) so theres no difficulties in washing it. Personally however I prefer to wash it by hand as some of the protein powder tends to get stuck in the crevices on the cap. It doesn’t take long at all…I just use regular dish soap. At the beginning I used a sponge but that didn’t work that well so I eventually got a set of bottle brushes that lets me clean the inside easily. The quicker you wash it, the easier it is to clean. Quality is great too. I’m a clumsy person and have dropped it a few times on the ground but you can’t really tell. I’ll admit that the straw is not as strong as I thought it’d be but so far i have no issues to report. The curved design also makes it easy to hold.

As a busy pharmacist, I found that hours at work could slip by without even a sip of water. I faithfully brought my water every day, but the few seconds it took to unscrew or unlatch a lid was enough to deter me from staying hydrated. (I know, first world problems!) But it did me no good to bring the water along if I wasn't drinking it. And the double insulated metal containers I was using required hand-washing, which meant forgoing water on those busy mornings when I found the containers unwashed in the sink. After becoming pregnant and having a couple of dizzy spells due to dehydration, I began looking for another option. This cup has been a life-saver! Pros: - Does not spill (when straw is out) - Dishwasher (top rack) safe - this was a must for me! - Fits in car cup container (I have the 16 oz size) - No latches makes one-handed sipping easy in the car (or a baby on the arm) Cons: - Can leak while straw is out, but not a deal breaker. My cups usually sit upright at work or in the car. If I throw one in my lunch bag, I just remove the straw. Other: - Other reviewers state that the cup sweats. I rarely use ice, but when I do, I haven't noticed this to be a problem. I have time to drink the water, now I just have to find the time to pee. :)
