Q: what wears out first on the unite

Everything wears out on this thing. It stop igniting after four months of regular use and they offered no support whatsoever. Just incorrect instruction for things that didn't fix the issue but wanted a bunch of time. A cheaply made product and no care for the customer.

Q: Does this model have ADR? can it be hooked up to a computer?

No. ADR is an add-on that can be hooked up to this but it's a retrofit. The only controls on this are a target temperature for the thermometer that is in the exhaust flue of the roaster. So you get air temp, not bean temp. Upside is it helps learn to roast by sight (bean color) and sound.
