Silva Starter 1-2-3 Compass, Clear, One Size

i picked this up as a last minute backup gear for a camping trip. It works fine, the magnetic north is accurate, and the compass was reliable. However, I didn't realize that this compass was missing 2 key features when I purchased it: adjustable declination and a notch or pointer at the top edge. The declination wasn't a big deal for this trip, but would be a pain for future trips if we go somewhere where declination is significantly greater and imo would have been a deal breaker if I didn't need the compass right away

Bought it for some measurement requirements. More stable (less varience in measurement results) as compared to phone compass

This compass is tuned for use in the northern hemisphere. The needle is not weighted correctly for the Southern hemisphere. Amazon should not offer this to Australian customers.

Prazo de entrega foi excelente, porém a bússola apresentou defeito já descrito em avaliações anteriores como por exemplo parte branca da agulha encosta no fundo do limbo da bússola e não aponta corretamente como deveria, parece estar empenada essa agulha.Amazon deixa a desejar quando não atenta para nossas avaliações, não recomendo nem como prêmio esse produto.

A agulha é mais pesada de um dos lados. Assim ela toca no fundo e prende com qualquer inclinação, por mínima que seja. Para mim não serve, devolvi o produto por causa disto.
