Kingii 2.0 (2016 model) - Discontinued by manufacturer

A couple years ago I was in the ocean off the Outer Banks frantically treading water while holding on to two 11-year-olds, wondering if any of the three of us would survive. We're in waist-deep water and within seconds all of us were over our heads, caught in a rip current. By the grace of God we made it back to shore...all three of us exhausted and shaken. This summer, I vowed to make us all better prepared and safe. I ordered three of the Kingiis...one each for my son and his friend, and another for the parent in the water to watch them. We used one of the CO2 cartridges to let the kids operate the device and see what to expect if they needed to use it. Fortunately it wasn't necessary this year, but I can't express the relief of knowing that each of us had a floatation device strapped right to our wrists if needed. I can't speak to a real-world survival situation, but after doing a test deployment, I can attest to its quick inflation and ease of use. You can't put a price on your life or your children's, and with that standard, this is a bargain for peace of mind and acknowledging the power of the ocean.

Awesome concept but the clasp technology is far from good. All the times I have used it while swimming in calm waters it would come unlatched at least every 7 minutes, eventually I would take it off because it would become a nuisance. Wanted to try this out for myself before getting them for my wife and children but I think I will be finding them something else. Again though awesome concept but just need to work on the clasp so it stays closed.

1st one was defective. The whistle and Compass were non-functioning. The bag could not be repacked after use. The replacement sent looked like a used one.

A great product for paddle boarding or kayaking. It’s bulky on the wrist, but better than tying a flotation device around the waist. I will get another one.

Useless piece of crap. Very bulky, dysfunctional, and loud when activated. Seems like something that was made in the 80's.

Worked great. Was diving in the ocean, opened it and I rose to the surface.

I havent REALLY used it which i wish my boyfriend and i would not ever have to... Wearing it gives me a piece of mind when out surfing in big ones. I tried it on and have to say it is not very comfortable on wrist coz it is hardshell and not very adjustable. I feel some weight too. Hope this can be improved with new versions for better surfing experience, which I would definitely invest coz it is a life saving matter. Life guard is around only sometimes and you know these risks are never guaranteed to be eliminated.

Lo compré para regalarlo para una actividad náutica. es bastante voluminoso sobre la muñeca y molesta a la hora de hacer cosas con las manos, pudiéndose enganchar la pestaña y accionándose, además al tener una sola correa se mueve bastante sobre la muñeca. Creo que para un niño por seguridad estaría bien, pero no creo que sea muy operativo para hacer surf como indica ya que se puede golpear la tabla con el mismo durante la remada, quizás para una embarcación si sería más práctico pero en este caso yo no lo cambiaría por un chaleco.

No pesa y no molesta, siento que mi hija pequeña estará más segura, es un acierto, estoy encantada por la compra...Hola a pasado un verano y el mecanismo de cierre para la muñeca, no funciona.... ha durado muy poco para lo que cuesta...

型番の違うものを買ったが動作せず残念だった。でもこの商品はテスト用にボンベが2本入ってたのがよい。テストできると安心感が更に得られる。
