Enjoyable Kickboxing routine - if you want to step it up a notch
I purchased this routine because I had been doing a walking tape for over a year and had hit a plateau in regards to fitness and weight loss. I am a former spinning instructor and had taught kickboxing back in the late 90's.. BUT I am almost 60 and started to dial it back with walking and light weights...BORING.. I am in decent shape and about 10lbs overweight.. I started this bootcamp routine 3 weeks ago and I love it. I do it every other day and have lost 8lbs..but the best part is body shape is changing and I feel great again. Jeanette has great form and the moves are not hard or complex. BUT you will sweat. She has great cues and you get the sense she likes what she does. My favorite line she says is "you are not trying to be Bruce Lee, you are just trying to get a good cardio workout.. so go at your own pace!" She uses some light weights a couple times...other than that is all kickboxing and a short floor routine. She uses a wrist heart monitor..but it is not necessary. Highly recommend this if you are looking to kick it up a notch without going P90X!!!..

and you've got to be pretty fit already to be able to keep up
I've only done a little bit of kickboxing over the years, and all of it done at home with DVD's. This is the first time I've done a Jeanette Jenkins workout, and it is tough! The moves themselves are not hard to follow, but Jeanette sets a fast pace, and you've got to be pretty fit already to be able to keep up. I'm trying to get back in shape after a 5-year hiatus from the gym, and I was able to do the whole workout but definitely had to set my own pace, which was usually at least half-time to what Jeanette was doing. This is a good cardio workout, and I also like it because she includes some strength/weights training -- although, again, even with 3-lb weights I had to modify pace to be able to get through without throwing up lol. Jeanette has great form and is working out with two other people, one of whom shows some modifications if needed.

Feel-Good workout that leaves you sore!
I agree with the other reviewers who say that this is a feel-good workout. Jeanette Jenkins is very personable as you're working out, at the same time that she makes you move! I haven't done a kickboxing workout in years, but my muscles remember how to do everything, and I had forgotten what an endorphin rush it gives you. And how sore I was the next day!! This has been the best DVD to find my workout mojo again. I look forward to working out with Jeanette & knowing I'll feel immensely happier after I complete the workout. Highly recommend this DVD!!

Great workout
This is an amazing work out. It took me 10 times to get through the entire work out. Works your entire body. Jeanette is fast paced but lets you learn the moves while doing it so you can get the hang of it. Video quality is SD but who cares because the work out is awesome. Works your legs, butt, arms and abs. Try and you will see this is a no joke work out for those that are looking for something different. The entire work out including the cool down is around 50 minutes. Thanks Jeanette, great video.

Kickboxing Fan!
I've always been a big fan of Kickboxing... I was pleasantly surprised to see that Jeanette Jenkins tape was almost identical to what the class I attend teaches = easy to follow! Jeanette is very personable and informs you of key notes about fitness. I truly enjoy her workout at home to keep my variety going and can't wait to try more of her workout tapes!!! The best part, you can incorporate your own moves while she does hers and sweat as much as you put into the 50 minute workout... recommended for all fitness levels:)

Awesome Kickboxing dvd!
I discovered this workout this week on exercise tv and I tried it for the first time this week and I'm hooked! I love kickboxing and this dvd is for ALL fitness levels. It's not your usual high impact workout where your jumping and kicking so fast that your form pays the consequences or your feet. You move with control and power with your hits and kicks. Her instructions and pointers are well explained and her form is perfect. The music is great and perfect for this workout! Her ab workout is basic and short and I wished that it was a little bit longer. But, I 've done this workout 2-3 times already and I love it! I forgot to mention that Jeannette does a kickboxing and sculpt circuit in t his dvd, so, you do some kickboxing then some sculpting, which still keeps that heart rate up. I love this dvd for days you want to burn some calories and get yoru workout in. It runs about 50 minutes including a warm up and cool down. I hope that she comes out with more kickboxing workouts! Her 21 days cardio/sculpt is also great! Another not too fancy moves and keeps them simple but yet effective! Don't let her fool you! She gets the job done in an efficient time and in the end you feel awesome!

Amazing Workout!
If you enjoy kickboxing workouts, you will love Jeanette Jenkins. She breaks everything down into easy to follow steps, and keeps the tempo up. She's all smiles and no-pressure. I feel great after doing this workout!In addition to Jeanette Jenkins, I also enjoy Jill Coleman videos. As a woman, sometimes I can feel a little intimidated when trying to do a tough workout, but these two ladies make it easy and take the pressure off. They encourage you to just do your best, which I find helpful in workout videos.

I'M SO HAPPY I BROUGHT THIS WORKOUT, I WAS HESITANT TO BUY IT BECAUSE IT WAS KINDA EXPENSIVE FOR ME. BUT, IT IS WORTH THE MONEY. I LIKE HOW JEANETTE HAS CHALLENGING MOVES THAT AREN'T COMPLICATED. HER INSTRUCTIONS ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. I AM BACK AT THE BEGINNER STATUS, SO I DID STRUGGLE A LOT TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE WORKOUT. I CAN'T WAIT TILL I GET TO THE POINT WHERE I CAN COMPLETE THE WHOLE WORKOUT WITHOUT ANY BREAKS & GET EVEN BETTER.I LIKE IT SO MUCH I WENT TO HER DIRECT WEBSITE TODAY & BROUGHT 3 MORE WORKOUTS.
